    Hi girls!!
I have to apologize first that I haven't been that "social" on here. I check in often, but I haven't posted in a long time :( I hope everyone has been doing great and all babies are great!!

I am just about 16 weeks now and getting scared that I haven't felt the babies move yet. Technically, this is my fourth pregnancy, but I have never made it this far in a pregnancy, so all this is new to me. When did you first feel your babies move? Should I be worried I haven't felt them yet? I go back to my OB Wednesday, the 19th and will have an u/s. I'm getting pretty big, so I HOPE babies are good.

    Thanks everyone!

I didn't feel the twins move until 20 weeks & one day! It all depends on your body type (I'm plump) and where the placentas are. I had a placenta on the front so that prevented me from feeling them very early. WIth this pregnancy I started feeling him at about 18 weeks. It's still early for you! I know how frustrating it is when you're not feeling them yet, but be patient.. it'll happen. :hug99:

I didn't feel mine until quite late on- nearly 20 weeks to be honest. I was worried as this is my third pregnancy, but once I started to feel them they've been wiggling since! Hope that helps!

I have felt one starting about a week ago… a little kick, my husband got to feel it too, but I don’t feel them all day… maybe just a bit here and there… mostly at night when I’m just kicken back… and because of other reasons, I’ve had an u/s once a week for 4 weeks now… so I know they are great, they are moving (one more then the other). This is my second pregnancy (well really my 3rd but I didn’t make it this far with my first) and I’m average. 5’5 (125 pre preggo)… I was told it matters were the placenta is… I think I feel the other kick my back… I never had that with my son, so it could be something else… but I swear I feel little kicks towards my back… lastly I was told I wouldn’t feel until 20w so I think it’s still early…

Thanks for all the replies!! I feel much better now :icon_biggrin:

I am a plump girl, so I thought maybe that would have something to do with it. I am just a worry wart!!

We hope to learn the genders next week at our u/s. My gut says two girls, but who knows?!

I am only about 1 week ahead of you. This is my 5th pregnancy. I have 3 children and had a m/c earlier this year. I have felt them flutter here and there, but nothing really strong other than one really good kick a couple weeks ago. I am looking forward to feeling them a lot more, too.

I get to have my u/s on Saturday and I will find out what I am having then too. I am thinking boy/girl. We will have to keep up with each other and enjoy finding out for Christmas together!!!! Have fun!

I felt something at 15 weeks - but I wasn't sure about it. Around 17 weeks I felt movement, but only from 1. After that I would feel them sporadically. Since 23 weeks, I have been feeling both of them regularly. Also, 1 of mine has an anterior placenta so I didn't feel her for a long time!

I was worried too, but at my 16 week check, my dr. said that it is typical not to feel the babies until 18-20 weeks. They are just too small before that to feel reliably. You may have also felt them and not known it. I felt mine a little since about 12 weeks, but then not again until around now, 18 weeks. I still do not feel them that much. Their heartbeats are strong and they are moving inside so you just might not feel it or recognize it yet. Try not to worry, you are not alone and it is perfectly normal. :hug99:

i think it all depends on your body and how the babies are grown. i was told i had a thick uterus and i started feeling them around 16-20wks once the baby is suppose to be about a lb each u will start to feel them more. i have since started not feeling them as much because they are getting bigger and they like to snuggle in my ribs and not move for hours. your getting an u/s thats good it will ease your thoughts, but im sure the babies are doing just fine!! good luck and once you start to feel them its awesome but later on you think could u have stayed lil flutters instead of big soccer kicks haha GL

This is my fourth pregnancy and I was worried too. I had never been this big and not felt movement. That was hard for me, but now they don't seem to stop and are getting stronger every day. Hang in there, it's coming!

Welcome Back!!! I am so glad to here that things are still going well in your pregnancy!
I didn't start feeling them move until about 17 weeks but it has still been very sporatic. I still have not consistently felt them - it is just every now and then. My doctor said that it is because there is so much placenta in there with 2 babies that it is very cusioned. It is becoming more and more regular - but I am ready to feel them all the time.

During my first pregnancy it took until 18w. It looks like 16w may be early still for you to feel movement. But once you do, it will be amazing!
