My next ultrasound is at 15 weeks 3 days. What are the chances I could get an accurate gender reading at that ultrasound?

they gave us a prediction at 12 weeks during the down syndrome scan and said we were having girls. at the level II scan at 18 weeks we saw boys and that's what we are having........2 identical boys.

i think you may have a good chance at 15 weeks just don't get your hopes up.

    good luck!!

i found out at 18w but they kept telling me they couldn't guarantee it. like i was going to sue them if it turned out they were wrong. i ended up going for so many u/s though & everyone said the same gender, so i was pretty sure i was having girls.

At my u/s around 13wk they could not tell, at my 18wk they said "looks like girls" and all u/s since (no matter how much my husband wills it to change LOL) they keep looking like girls!

At 14 weeks they were 85% sure it was two boys. Three weeks later it was definitely two boys.

I was told that it look like boy/girl at 16w 5 days, but my OB insisted that he cant confirm. He just saw one "willy" and one no willy. :p

I found out at 15 weeks with the twins they were boy/girl 90% sure then towards the end of my pregnancy with them I had so many ultra-sounds everytime I went into the Dr's office it was confirmed at 18 weeks 100%.
Then with this pregnancy this past Wed when I went in @ 14 weeks the tech said she was 99.9% sure it is a boy(there was clearly a boy parts showing!) We'll see!

    Good Luck :)

I think part of it depends on the equipment they are using and the person doing the ultrasound. Some look at the ultrasound and assume girl because of lack of family jewels, while others specifically look for the markers that show it is a girl vs boy. Good luck either way!

OB's office suspected at 16 weeks they were girls. Peri confirmed it at 18 weeks.

I was told at 13w, the tech *thought* Baby B was a boy, looked a little thick between the legs. We didn't put much stock in it at that point. At 17w3d we had another u/s and found out A was a girl and B was in fact a boy. So the tech was correct at 13w.

They may be able to take a guess at 15w, but I wouldn't pain the room or buy any clothes at that point.

We were a little over 13 weeks, and they were able to tell us one boy and one girl. It helped that our babies weren't shy at all - they haven't been shy at an u/s since. My doctor's office just upgraded their u/s equipment - sometimes they even switch on 3-D for us. Very cool...

18 weeks is when I found out but they offered at 16. My mom was with me and we decided to wait till the hubby could be there!

The peri's just grinned at that and I knew I was getting my greatest wish! :woo:

Now for the mono/di we found the placenta was either fused or joined at 8 weeks when I found I was preggers. We confirmed it around 12 weeks that they were mono/di.

we found out at 18 w, one was definitely a boy and the other looked like a girl (tech says 3 vertical lines are usually girls). At our u/s last week the boy was clearly still a boy (man do they show their stuff off LOL!) and the girl, well she's still shy but still most likely a girl. Good luck!

We had a scan at 15weeks (exactly) and OB said she thought it was a boy and a girl, I saw the little man too, but small to see.. And then there was nothing between my girls legs, she had them spread wide.. But still since it was early she said not to hold her to anything..

Then at 18w1d at my level 2, it was confirmed it was a boy and a girl and QUITE obvious too! They weren't shy :D

I hope you get to find out or at least get a guess!!

Found out it was boys at my 16 week cervical check. They double checked at 20 weeks and they were right. 16+ weeks should be accurate. My friend was told she was having a boy (singleton) at 13 weeks and at her 20 week u/s the boy turned into a girl!
