When did you feel your babies move on a regular basis?

I'm 22 weeks and not feeling my babies kick or move on a regular basis. Every few days I will feel, what I think is, a baby kicking or a hard lump for a few seconds somewhere in my tummy which I think is one of them turning over or moving... but nothing on a regular basis. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure really what to expect. I was hoping to feel them kick a lot by now!

When did you feel yours move on a regular basis?

I started feeling mine really kick at 19 weeks and now they are moving and rolling aroung all the time. I had an ultrasound done today and they are very active but I can not feel all of those movements.

I felt mine with some consistency around 21w. I feel them most of the day now, but it's always in the same spot (super low down). I wouldnt' worry. Talk with your OB at your next appt, but I think it's typical for things to be sporadic for a while still. That's why they don't have you start kick-counts until later on.

i started feeling them both every day in my 22nd week. Before that i would feel one but not the other and i'd start to panic a bit. But the u/s always showed them both very active. Now i feel them both consistantly.

I usually only feel mine in the morning and evening when I was laying in bed. Maybe you are feeling movements just not realising thats what they are. Some people say that it depends where the placenta is - if it's at the front it buffers what you can feel.
I could feel movement with my hands at 23 weeks, and felt movement everyday from 22 weeks.

I was almost 21 weeks, but now at 24 its more constant. Its also certain times and after eating certain things I can lay and watch/feel them showing out

At about 18 weeks I had tons and tons of fluttering feelings and I thought I would feel them kick regularly, early. But it didn't work that way. I definitely started feeling one fairly consistenly between 22-24 weeks and the other one was in such an odd position I didnt feel him move regularly until recently and I'm 30 weeks. He's moved so now I can feel him, but I think sometimes it depends on how they are situated in there.

You don't have to worry about feeling them consistently until 28 wks, that's when kick counts should start. Until then, you may feel them rocking and rolling for 2-3 days and then they'll be quiet for a day or two, resting up for the next rock and roll session! :D

    Hi Lisa,

I am 36 years old and expecting twin boys as well at my 23 weeks of pregnancy (first time mom to be). I started feeling them really kicking since about 2 weeks. but it's not on a constant regular basis. I noticed that they MOSTLY kick: when I eat, drink lot of water, or when they hear voices after a quiet period.

Please don't worry yourself! Talk with your OB about what you are feeling and what changes in that would indicate a problem. I would still second guess myself as to which one I felt move or the last time I felt each of them all the way up until the day I delivered. I don't know what I expected, but what I felt was not the clear "Hi mom, this is baby A kicking you again" movement I anticipated.

Around 20 weeks I really began feeling them move on a regular basis.
