when did you deliver your singlton after twins?

as i approch 36 weeks (tomorrow) i am just wondering when this little one will come. i was induced at 38 weeks and 4 days with the twins.
as i get close to 38 weeks i just keep wondering.

I'm wondering the same thing, if it will be different than my other singletons. Anyways, 3 of my kids were 10 days late, one was 3 days early, but only because of a sweep. Which I will never do again. I ended up with a bladder/kidney infection because of the sweep.

I keep telling this baby she can arrive anytime, since the twins were born at 37w3d and were perfectly healthy.

First pregnancy - 39 weeks

Second - 37 weeks

Third-( Twins ) - 35 weeks 1 day

LAST ( lol) 39 + 1 , would have been 38 weeks , but the lovely doctors in this country didn't induce me until almost 48 hours AFTER my waters broke.

My first was 3 days late. My twins were 2.5 weeks early due to c/s. My vbac baby, 3rd pg, was 3 days early no interference whatsoever.

 

Twins were 3 weeks early, induced due to pre-e.

Rebecca was 5 days late (chose induction at 40w4d but it took a bit of time to get her large butt out )

This one?? I'm thinking I'll go to my due date. I don't know if I'll opt for induction or not. Depend on how he's sizing up.

 

I had my twins at 34 weeks and Elizabeth by scheduled c-section at almost 39 weeks.

 

I had my singleton at 38 weeks & 3 days! I had the twins at 35 weeks & 3 days.

 

I had the twins at 37 weeks 4 days due to HELLP syndrome, I was scheduled to have my c/s at 38 weeks. With Liam, I had a scheduled c/s at 39 weeks.

 

Twins pregnancy - sched. c-section at 38 weeks

Evan (10lbs) - 40 weeks + 1day

I was so ready at 36 weeks!!! I miss it now, but if you were induced, there is a great chance that you have another month yet.

 

Mine were: 41 weeks+1, spontaneous; 42 weeks, water broken to induce; 40weeks+6, spontaneous; 37weeks+5, induced for my twins; 41 weeks, induced. I just cook my babies long. Except for having my water broken with Trey, I've HATED being induced. Seriously, I should have waited for Spencer and gone another week, but that's hindsight.

 

This is on my mind too. My boys were born by induction at 37.5 weeks. Now I'm 35.5 weeks along with a singleton (girl) and she's due August 5. I keep telling myself she's due August 15 so I won't be disappointed if she's late! I took a hypnobirthing class in my second trimester and they kept stressing that the due date is actually a "guess date" and that 95% of babies are born before or after their "guess dates". While I guess my boys weren't technically very early, I feel I'd like this baby to go the full 40 weeks. We had lots of breastfeeding issues and I feel it was at least partially related to their slightly early arrival. Although I'm anxious to meet my first daughter, I'd like her to get the full 40 weeks to grow and develop - especially since the midwife and ultrasound tech seem to be expecting a small baby this time around.

 

1st pregnancy (Twins) - Induced at 35.2 weeks for cholestasis and IUGR, delivered at 35.3 weeks
2nd - Induced at 41.4 weeks, delivered at 41.6 weeks
3rd - Induced at 41.6 weeks, delivered at 42 weeks

 

Mikiah was taken by C/S at 39 weeks. My twins where born emergency c/s at 35w 4d
