When did you begin weekly OB visits?

Hi Everyone!

I had my bi-weekly OB visit today. Everything is going really well and we're very glad about that. My doctor said that it is routine to go to weekly visits during the pregnancy. My first weekly visit will be at 32 weeks. Is this pretty normal? I was wondering when everyone began or will begin they're weekly OB/peri visits.

 

I will find out for sure on Monday but my doc said that I would begin weekly at 30 weeks. Next week is thirty so I will see if they will schedule me a week out or not. Probably so though since he said to plan on that.

SOunds like 32 weeks would be pretty normal.

 

My weekly visits started about 28 weeks but that was b/c i had bp issues earlier on and she wanted weekly bpp to make sure the babies were getting enough nutrition through the placenta.

 

I will begin being seen weekly at 28 weeks...at 30 weeks I'll start weekly ultrasounds and nonstress tests.

I start weekly visits, u/s, nst at 34 weeks. I have had a pretty healthy pregnancy though. My OB said my juvenille diabetes is more of a stress on my body and babies than the twins.

My Dr orginally said that we would start the weekly visits after 24 weeks, but when I went in yesterday she said everything looked perfect and she didn't see a reason to see me every week yet...so I really dont know when the weekly visits will start.

 

28 weeks ... and I had an easy pregnancy, not high risk. Normally my doc starts at 35 weeks.

I don't know when they'll start for me. My pregnancy has being going great so far with no problems at all. In fact, we've just started going every 2 weeks.

 

I think my doctor has done the same as yours....I had my first 2 week appointment this week, I have one more 2 week appointment on the 17th, and then I start weekly appointments. So I'll be 32 weeks for my first weekly appointment.

 

I had my weekly start at 32 weeks. and NST and BPP started at 34

 

Suppose to be 34 weeks for me but since I went to the hospital at 32 weeks, now it is every week. And I think next week, I will start having u/s weekly. Depending on what they see I guess.

 

Weekly visits started at 33 weeks. I have had a very uncomplicated pregnancy so far, so no plan yet for NST's. Had an u/s at 33 weeks, and will have 1-2 more before delivery (scheduled c/s at 38 weeks).

 

My OB was fantastic and one of the highest trained from Duke and she started seeing me every 2 weeks at 33 weeks and said she wouldn't make me come weekly because everything was going great. At my next 2 week checkup at 35 weeks, I was dialated to 4 cm, so we induced that night and delivered the next day at 36 weeks 0 days. So, I never was seen weekly.

 

i started once a week at 27 weeks, at twice a week (for NST's) at 30 weeks.

 

I start my weekly's next week. I will be gbetting bpp and the usual check up..I will be 31 weeks.

 

I just barely started going twice a week. I'll be 35 weeks next week and I am curious to see what the doctor says about weekly visits.

 

I'm not the norm, but I've had OB visits every two weeks since I was 14 weeks. And, now I have US's every week with the OB visits being every other. I will be starting weekly OB visits at 24 weeks, along with weekly US and NST's. And, then I'll be getting bi-weekly appts starting at 28 weeks, not real sure what they will be but that's what I was told this last week. Like I said though I'm not the norm, I'm pretty extreme.
