Okay...I'm trying to remember all this b/c I can't sneak into their rooms and get their baby books without waking them up I hope I told you the right ages...I can barely remember what they had for breakfast this morning...that is why I should look in their baby book where it is documented 1. Roll Over? Well they first rolled over around 3 months, but I think it was fluke thing...they rolled over consistently around maybe 4.5 months...can't remember that one so clearly 2. Sit up? Started sitting up around 5.5 to 6 months, I think. 3. Crawl? 7 months for one, 8'ish months for the other, and she was an army crawler. 4. Get first tooth? They cut their first teeth at 6.5 months and they pretty much cut both bottom teeth at the same time...within days of the other tooth, and my girls always teeth two weeks apart, weird, huh? 5. Say first word? That depends on what you consider a first word...they have been saying ma-ma and da-da for months now, then came along na-na, but as far as "real" words like dog, ball, hey, that kinda stuff just started within the past month or so. 6. Stand Unassisted? They started standing unassisted at 9 months 7. Walk? They were taking one to two steps before falling at 10 months, but they didn't start to walk really well until 11 months 8. Eat Finger foods? I started giving them toast, wagon wheels, etc. around 9.5 months, but they could have other things earlier...like cut up bananas, peas, softer foods. 9. Drink from Sippy? Maddie did really well with this from about 10'ish months on but Gracie didn't pick it up until later. 10. Eat Table food? Same time as around finger foods.
Here's a good website I found: iVillage Just use their adjusted age (if necessary) to figure out what month they're in and remember that all babies meet milestones differently. HTH

If you haven't started any finger foods I would start with puffs first. We would cut them in half to start with. They melt in your mouth very easily, better that cheerios. There are always the biter biscuits, but they can become pretty messy. Mine are a bit older but are eating: cheerios, puffs, toast, eggs, cheese, grilled cheese, bananas, peas, chicken nuggets, pancakes, waffles, pasta, yogurt, and a bunch of other things. If it is soft and they can mash it with their gums I just give them what we are having.
