I am sure my girls are aware of each other but today was the first time I think one actually noticed/looked at the other. They were on their activity mat, Natasha was babbling/cooing and Holly was laying beside her and looked over at her and started smiling at her. She laid there and stared and smiled at her for a good length of time. It was beautiful. [IMG]

My girls first noticed each other right around their four month birthday. I agree with you, it was precious when it happened! They were in one of the cribs as I was getting ready to put on their pj's and when I looked over they were just staring at each other.

Sometimes mine will look at the other while they're nursing, or when we're holding both, and one starts to cry or complain, the other will look at him, with this "what's your deal" type look. It's so funny! I haven't seen them smile at each other yet, but I can't wait. I was just getting them dressed after their bath, and they were in their crib while I was getting clothes out. Timothy suddenly screeched, then started wailing (Titus may have hit him with his hand), but the sudden outburst scared Titus, so then they were both shrieking! So sad, but still funny!

Mine are just starting to notice each other. I have seen them look at each other a few times, and they touch in the crib quite a bit. The other day they were taking turns yelling for me and making the exact same sound! It was really cute.

Ours are just starting to notice each other. Its very cute when mason looks over at abby and starts to babble at her with a great big smile.

Our guys have started paying more attention to each other over the last couple of weeks - during tummy time, sometimes they just turn their faces to each other & study each other, gurgling away. They also smile at each other, although usually one will be smiling and the other will be oblivious - they're not always interested in each other at the same time.

Our girls were 3 1/2 months old...we were on vacation at the beach and my husband and I were sitting on the bed across from each other holding them and all the sudden they looked at each other and these huge smiles spread across their faces..of course I cried like a baby [IMG]

Ours first showed an interest at 3 1/2 months -- and now they LOVE interacting with each other. At first as the pp said, one would be interested while the other looked away. Now they have whole cooing conversations and even hold hands (and eat each others hands [IMG])

Mine were 4 1/2 months and it was so precious. Now they are pulling on each others' clothes, bibs, ears, and fingers. They are starting to steal toys also. What fun!

I remember the first time my boys noticed each other, a little over 3 months old. They were both on the floor after I changed their diapers and they had their heads next to each other but their bodies were in an "L". They both arched their backs to look at each other, held hands and started cooing. [IMG] It was the most beautiful moment and my favorite picture (luckily I had my camera handy)!

Nowadays, they fight a lot. But, that's something for most of you to look forward to. I don't want to ruin the thread by going into details. [IMG]
