Would it be too much if we started trying the vibration features on the bassinett or pack n play? When can you start using swings and bouncy seats? I think my doctor mentioned that it might be too overstimulating for them right now to use those things..when did you start using them?

We started using the vibrations on the bassinet the first night home [IMG] Anything to get them back to sleep. I think it was probably around 1.5 to 2 months when we started using the swing and bouncy seats...maybe a little later, but not much. I was more afraid of the bouncy seats b/c they seemed to suppor their heads less than the swings...once you start using them, you and the babies will be addicted [IMG] You probably know what time is right more than anyone.

We used the vibration from the beginning, and also used the swings and bouncers from day one. As the pp mentioned, it didn't support their heads all that well, but we used these and they worked great. They came in a two pack, so the bigger one we used in the swings/bouncer, and the smaller ones we had to use in the car seats. BTW, mine slept in the swings sooo much better than they did in their crib, especially during day time naps. [IMG]

We started using our cradle swing at 3 weeks old. It swngs side-to-side and has great head support and the looooved it. It was a real lifesaver on those nights when one wouldn't go back to sleep and I was trying to feed the other. Popped the fussy one in the swing and they would konk right out!
Now we have a travel swing as well and they take turns in them because they both love it so much. We never used the vibration features because my babies don't seem to like it very much.

We used the vibration on there bouncies and pack and play from the first day home! We got the swing when they were about 4 weeks old, so started using it then.

I would try it to see if they even liked it yet. You can use the swing and that might be less stimulating. We had the same over stim. warnings with DD when we brought her home from the NICU and I think we waited about a month....
