When can we start using Bumpo seats?

I picked up two Bumpo seats at the local twins sale. When is it ok to start using them?

 

once they can hold up their own heads ( good neck strength) than it should be fine. You can always try...they will lwt you know if it's not ok.

 

Yep I agree with Tiffany. If they're holding their heads up quite steady then they should be ready for the Bumbo seats. I have to say that at 4 months my girls weren't ready but they were also 30 wkrs so they do some things a little later than other babies. You could always try, if they don't like it then they'll let you know!

BTW, lucky you for finding a twins sale nearby! I would LOVE to happen up on one!!!

 

Mine were able to hold their heads pretty good between 3-4 months, that is when we started using them. Congrats on finding them on such a good sale!

I started around 3 1/2 months with DS and 4 months with DD. Like PP said as soon as their head strength is good, GO FOR IT!! YAY for twin sales

 

I had a friend give me her old one and we started at 4 months. My one has always had good neck strength so she managed well right away. The other has never really liked it. I find they don't spend a lot of time in it now at 5months+ I am thinking of getting rid of it in the garage sale.

Ours were in them at 4 months. We had them in there a lot because we were dealing with plagiocephally (flat heads) and wanted them off their heads as much as possible.
