I did mine last week and Patrick liked it but Kevin didn't... Kevin doesn't seem to like much of anything though. I think 6 months is fine! Give it a shot. I froze the rest of it in ice trays and put it in baggies for later.

I tried it at around 6 months and they didn't like it. I need to try it again though. Lily loves any green veggie so maybe she'll like it now.

    Lots of good fat!

I gave them to the girls at 6 months. Neither of them liked it though, even after trying it maybe 8-10 times, so I gave up!

avacodos are a first food for many babies. the fat in them is great for babies brain. anytime after 6 months is okay

I think we tried it for the first time around 6 mos. Johnny's a much more picky eater & he didn't like it at first, but Zoe loved it. The next time we tried it, Johnny did much better with it. I think he just needs to taste things a few times before he gets used to the new taste/texture.

Yes! Mine loved and still do love avacado. I think we introduced it around 8 months.

I don't remember when I introduced them to avacados, but the boys really liked them. Unfortunately I saw a pattern with Nathan that whenever he ate avacado his tushie would go bright red within the next day. It actually took several months of eating the stuff to put 2 and 2 together. Now when I try to feed it to William he turns his nose up on it, and Nathan tries to swipe it from him (I am still restricting his consumption). Just wanted to warn you to look for a reaction just like with any other food.

I just introduced it this week. The first try failed horribly, they were both crying and wouldn't eat the food they liked after trying avacado. I was shocked since they usually eat anything I give them. Then the next time, I added some jarred carrots to it and they ate it up. Since then they've been enjoying them avacado, however I haven't given it to them plain again. Also, I put it in the mini food prep so that it's really well blended.

It's safe anytime after 6 months, however a lot of babies don't seem to like it. Amy loooooves it (and always has) -- Sarah would eat it for the first month or two that they were on solids, but now won't touch it.
