Right now I am on 4 bottles, and I really feel it is time to drop down to three. How do I do it guys? AND which one should go first?? Here is our very strict schedule...ha!!

    8:30am 6oz bottle
    9am Oatmeal and Fruit
    10am NAP
    12pm 6oz bottle
    1pm Meat & Veggies
    2pm NAP
    4pm 6oz bottle
    6pm Meat & Veggies
    7:15pm 6-8oz bottle & bed

My twins are 10.5 months. Let me know what you guys did. Which did you drop and what age? When I do it, do I need to add water or snacks to make of the difference. I know they are ready to do this, I am just not sure how to go about it.

I personally would drop the 4pm bottle and move dinner to 5pm.

Our 4 bottle schedule was this:

    7, 11, 3, 6:30

The 3 bottle schedule looked like this:
    7, 1, 6:30
    Solids at 8:30, 11:30, and 4:30

That was my thought as well...
Do I need to increase the amounts I offer in the remaining 3 bottles or leave the same??

I would leave them the same and start offering a sippy, if you haven't already! Good luck!

We dropped the 4th bottle at around 11 months. They were taking 6 oz or so at 7am, 11:30am, 4pm and 7pm. They were eating solids at 8am, 12 noon and 5 pm.

We dropped the 4pm bottle and offered milk in a sippy. They now drink 3 oz or so from the sippy and have a few puffs or Cherrios. They didn't miss it at all. I'm thinking I need to drop the 11:30 am next - thanks for the reminder.

We did the transistion at 11mos and it was really easy. We added sippies of milk to help make up for the lost bottle. It also made afternoon naptime easier b/c they get a bottle right before that.

Here are our 2 schedules to see the comparison. We are still using the 11mos schedule

    10 Mos Schedule

    7:30 a.m. Wake / Bottle (7.5oz)
8:30 a.m. Breakfast- Yogurt or Fruit, Pancake or Waffle( 1 Yo-Baby Yogurt each or 1 Stage 2 Fruit each, split 1 waffle or 1 pancake)
10 a.m. Nap for 1-2 hrs anytime during this period
    11:30 a.m. Bottle (6.5oz)
    12:30 p.m. Lunch Fruit & Meat or Veggie & Meat(split Stage 3 Jar meat and 2 Stage 2 Veggie,Cheerios to nibble)
    2:30 Naptime
    4:00 p.m. Bottle (6.5oz)
6 p.m. Dinner Table food and Cheerios to munch on
    7:45p.m. Bedtime / Bottle (8oz)

    11Mos Schedule

    7:30 a.m. Wake / Bottle (8oz)
    8:30 a.m. Breakfast
9:45/10 a.m. Nap for 1-2 hrs anytime during this period
11:30 a.m. Lunch with sippy of milk
    2:30 Bottle (8oz)Naptime after bottle 1-2hrs

We dropped the 4th bottle at 9 months. They were getting bottles at 7, 11, 3, 7.

    Now our schedule is . . .

    7:15 bottle
    8:30 breakfast
    11:30 lunch
    1:30 bottle
    3:30 snack and sippy
    5:00 dinner
    7:00 bottle

I just kept the remaining three the same amount as they were. My ped said to just make sure they get at least 16oz a day.

    Good luck!
