My girls are 10 months today. I just introduced lunch solids last week. Here is their eating schedule....give or take a half hour....

    7:30 6oz bottle
    8:30 breakfast

    11:00 6oz bottle
    12:30 lunch

    3:00 6oz bottle
    5:15 dinner

    6:30 6oz bottle

Do I drop the 11:00 or 3:00 bottle?

You could drop either. You could drop the 11am bottle and give them lunch earlier and then give them a snack in between lunch and dinner or you could drop the 3 and replace that one with a snack. I think I first dropped the 11 bottle because I found they weren't drinking all of it. They were able to go a longer time after their breakfast without eating. So I ended up moving their lunch up to 11:30-12 and then around 2-2:30 I give them a snack right before their nap. If you notice them not drinking all of one of those bottles then I would say that would be the one to drop. HTH

    It looked something like this

    6:30 6oz bottle
    8-8:30 breakfast
    9:30-11 nap
    11:30-12 lunch
    2:00 small snack
2:30-3:30/4 nap (only one dd takes this nap)
    4-4:30 6oz bottle
    5:30 dinner
    7:15(ish)final bottle

I have just recently dropped the 4-4:30 bottle and it is awesome. I give them now an 8oz bottle in the am and an 8oz bottle before bed. The have a snack in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. Makes life so much easier when I don't have to worry about carrying bottles on the go and finding some way to heat the darn thing up. Of course, we are now on regular milk so 16oz is enough for them. Plus of course they get milk in many other ways (yogurt, cheese, with cereal etc.)

You could drop either. I dropped the afternoon bottle first (3pm'ish). I would drop the one they are less attached to, replace it with a snack and a sippy with formula.

Our 4 bottle schedule was this...

    7, 11, 3, 6:30

Then when we dropped to 3...

    7, 1, 6:30

I moved lunch a little earlier, and added snacks and sippies in the morning and afternoon.

We just "dropped a bottle" 2 weeks ago by changing the whole schedule - we just swapped a bottle for a solid meal and then changed all the times of the feedings to accomodate 3 bottles and 3 meals.

Here's our schedule if it helps!

    6:00 wake
    6:15/6:30 bottle
    8:30 breakfast
    11:30 lunch
    2:00 bottle
    5:30 dinner
    7:30 bottle

Our 3 bottle schedule was 8 AM, 1 PM, 9 PM. They got 8 ounces at each one. I gave 4 solid meals a day so that helped.

    Here is our schedule

    7:30 bottle
    8:30 breakfast
    11:30 lunch
    1:30 bottle
    5:00 dinner
    7:30 bottle

Prior to this they received an 11:30 and 3:30 bottle. They have done fine with this schedule. My ped. said to just make sure they get at least 16 oz a day.
