I am confused on wheat products. When is it OK to introduce wheat such as pasta and bread? It seems like every source of info says something different.

I think it depends when you start solids, whether they've had any reactions to anything else, and whether your family is prone to allergies. I gave mine several fruits & vegetables and a couple of other grains (rice cereal, oatmeal) before trying wheat, but we got to pasta and crackers around 8 months. (We started solids at 6 months.)

If you or DH has a serious wheat intolerance (or serious food allergies in general), or if the babies seem to have food allergies, you might want to wait a lot longer.

We probably got up to wheat somewhere around 9 - 10 months once we had been through the other cereals and a fair amount of different baby fruits and veggies. I don't think there were any specific guidelines as far as times. Our pedi just told us to leave that until close to last for stage 1 foods and cereals.

Gerber's mixed cereal has wheat flour in it.

I noticed that all oatmeal cereal says "contains wheat" also. I am just trying to find something that DD will eat - she'll only eat if she is self-feeding. Try doing that with pureed foods. We make most of our own foods but still she can't live on banana, mango, kiwi and teething bars!

As far as cereals go, our pedi. told us rice, then oatmeal, then do the mixed cereal after all the stage one veggies and fruits. I think as long as you try one thing at a time so you can narrow down what caused a reaction (if there would happen to be one).
