sippy cup? We can't get any liquid out, I have even tried to suck on it and can't get anything out. Two came in a pack and niether work, do you have to poke holes first? TIA

Yep, all of mine did that too!! Take a sharp knife and put the tip all the way through each slit... it may take a few jabs before you get them to work...

oh, my poor babies!!! Have they not been getting anything from their cups! We do it as pure practice after each solid feeding. I give them some time to hold the cup and then I hold it to their mouth and they attempt to suck. Some water falls on them so I assume the spout works!! I am going to try it right now!

I've had that problem to, I just poke them a little, not too much or they will leak. And once your nuby leaks, its always gonna leak, so toss it!!

And I've had the short ones with the handles break on me (2 of them that Trevor dropped on the floor) even though they say they are made of break resistant plastic. [IMG]

We always had great luck with the PlayTex ones. We started with the little ones with the handles and have worked our way up to straw ones.

    Good luck!

I'm not a Nubby fan either. I just bought 4 new spouts for our cups and I had to poke each one. I was dissapointed at how my babes were able to chew on the spouts and bite holes in the slotted area. Not to mention, my babes know that they can turn the cup up-side-down, press it on the floor, and watch all the milk/juice/water come out in a really cool puddle!!!!

I second Nicole on Playtex cups. They have never let us down. We also started with the handled soft spout and we now on to the insulator.
