What's with the pinching?

[SIZE=12pt]Ok, now the twins are into "pinching" each other and me as well!! Are any of your twins doing this? I don't like it at all!

Mine don't pinch, but Alina has been a lot more physical lately when she's frustrated or mad. If I tell her no or try to get her to do something she doesn't want to, sometimes she'll swing or hit or try to bite me. She's never actually bitten me, so I don't know if she knows she's not supposed to and just acts like she's going to or what. I just tell her "we don't hit/bite/kick and if you don't stop, you can go stand in the corner."

Are your's doing it out of anger/frustration or do they just think its 'fun'? Either way, I'd just give them the lecture/warning/time out.

We aren't doing any pinching, but hitting, and biting have been on the rise. I am at my wits end. It just seems to get worse. I always tell them " No we don't____________. And put the actor in time out, and comfort the victim. Seems like it isn't working though. I think this must just be a stage that they all go through, but mine seem to have taken it to a whole other level. I know I am breaking them up at least 6-8 times a day. Usually it is Austin, that is the one acting out. I think his comes from frustration, he is slower at everything than Shawnee. I think Shawnee just does it because she has learned it from Austin, and for some retaliation on her part for him doing it to her ALL the time. I hope it ends soon. :hug99: to you!

 

[SIZE=12pt]Mine mostly pinch when they are mad, usually when they are mad at each other.
It has slowed down a bit the last few days, not as much pinching.
