what's the sweetest thing your twins do together?

One of the things I love most about this age is watching the relationship between the kids blossom. Even though they fight plenty, they are just crazy about each other. The sweetest thing in the world here is if Andrew is awake and Ivy is still sleeping, the minute he hears her wake up (or gets my permission to go wake her up), he RUNS up the stairs and into her room. He can't wait to see his sister, and he just lights up when they're together.

And it goes both ways. If Ivy's awake and hears Andrew wake up, she rushes in and bellows "GOOD MORNING ANDREW!" She can't wait to play with him.

I love it when they hold hands, which they tend to do when facing an unfamiliar situation (new gymnastics class, birthday party, etc.).

I also love it when one is upset and the other one tries to help them feel better -- especially now that they're old enough to accept that type of kindness without getting even more bent out of shape about it.

My girls love to dance together. They will run and get on their ballet slippers and tell me to turn on ballet music (classical) so they can dance together. I just love it!
When they are sick, the one who is well will go get blankets and wash clothes, or whatever they want, and mother each other. Sweet!

I also love this age and watching them develop such a close relationship. I love when they cheer each other on with potty training. When Ana first pooped on the potty the first thing she said was "I HAVE TO GO TELL MEWA!" When she did, Meara gave her a big hug and said "Great job Ana!"

Also, they have a new game called "Meara and Ana." Ana climbs up the ladder of our playset, and Meara climbs up the rock wall on the other side. They meet at the top and give big hugs and say "HI MEWA/HI ANA!" and then slide down the slide side-by-side. Its just too stinkin cute

Yeah, this is the good part. One of my girls is a little mommy and if her sister or brother doesn't feel well or is mad, she sits down on the couch, pats the seat next to her and tells them to "come here" and when they do she puts her arm around them or pats their head and says "it's OK". I wonder where she gets this from? ;-)

My boys will hold hands in the car. They'll each stretch their hands across their car seats. There are times they will hold hands for the entire trip. Every time I see it, I say I need to keep a camera in the car.

Mine have just started saying thank you to each other wihout me nagging. If I give two cookies to Marc I don't need to give any instructions at all. Off he runs, "EEyam! Here you go EEyam" and then William will say "Thank you".
    It's heartwarming to watch.

I love the sweet, tender moments & try to hold onto them when they're fighting like cats & dogs :)!

My favorite from the past week was when they climbed onto Aiden's bed & were reading books together. Aiden knows his letters, but Conner does not. I overheard Aiden teaching Conner the letters! It was so awesome! Of course, by the time I got the video camera, they were done.

Mine are also good at cheering each other on. Tonight at the park there was lots of "Great Job, Conner!"/"You're Awesome, Aiden!". Hilarious!

And they're starting to console each other, too. Lots of "it's ok"/"you're alright" type stuff. Today Aiden got the ice pack out of the freezer without me asking him to do so while I was consoling Conner after a nasty fall. Sweet.

I just LOVE the sweet moments....

I'm just loving the fact that I have twins-and watching them grow together, and their relationship blossom. It truly is amazing!

If one of them accidently bumps into the other, they will go up to the other and go, "Oh, sorry _____!" It's so sweet!

When in timeout, when they are done, I have say Nicholas go and apologize to Anthony. Nicholas likes to be a little _____, so he'll run away. And Anthony will come up, and APOLOGIZE! It's too funny! And if Anthony is in TO, the same thing happens. It's quite funny!

And I just LOVE the giggles they have been having together-more and more of. It just brings an automatic smile to my face. I love it! And what's crazy, is at times, I wish Annabella had a twin as well-so she could experience what they do/will. But they love her to pieces-I see the three of them being super close(well, minus the teen years)!

I just remembered another one about time outs. When Jake is in one, Josh will come over and sit with him, which I really don't like him doing but it's sweet.

When I first started TO's at around 22 months, Josh would run around and laugh right in front of Jake when he was in a TO. It was sort of like "ha, ha, you have to sit there and I can run around".

It's nice to see that them have empathy for each other.

I love seeing them giggle, make each other laugh hysterically and play nice together.

Last night, I was trimming my DS's toenails...DS absolutely HATES having his feet touched, he just freaks out. Well, he freaked over the first foot but for some reason on the second foot, he sat there calm and quiet. I was praising him and telling him what a good boy he was being especially sitting still for something he did not like. DD says real loud, "Good job Ookey!!! Yay ookey!!! I proud!" and started clapping. Melted my heart
I love that they are each other's biggest cheerleaders!

Yesterday, my DS lost his priviledge of a snack since after the gym he climbed in the driver side of our minivan and continously honked the horn while I told him NO. On the way home, my DD had a snack and DS did not. He started to cry and my DD told him it was OK and she would share her snack. She shared her entire snack with him. I praised her for being kind. After they were done eating my DS asked for more and I told him no since he had lost his snack and he should thank his sister for sharing and he did. It was TOOOO cute!

Hi all! I haven't been on this site in a very long time! This was a very cute topic to start... I'll add a few of mine!

    1. Lily loves to dance... so she'll call Jack her prince, and they will dance together
    2. If Lily needs something, Jack will be the one to help her, she'll tell someone else "no thank you... Jack helps me"
    3. When Lily goes potty, she'll always ask Jack if he has to go, and if she does, she'll clap for him and tell him "good job!"

I'm pretty much enjoying everything they do together right now! (there is some fighting, but the rest is so cute it makes up for it!)

My ds likes to help dd and my dd relies on him to when she is feeling like she is physically hesitant, especially on the playground.

I love it when my little guys hug each other after one gets hurt. I also love that they call each other "my Jamie" and "my Seanie".

I just about died laughing the other morning. Sean woke up and I heard him laughing, singing and dancing so I went to get him before he woke up James. When I opened the door I saw Sean standing next to James' bed and patting it to try and wake up James. Sean kept saying " Rise and shine!" until James finally cracked his eyes open then he screamed "GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!!! I LOVE YOU!!!" which made James (and me) bust out laughing!

at naptime i've caught them holding each other and singing "rock a bye baby"

when they sit on the couch they cross their legs over each other

when they snuggle and hug, they purr like kittens  so cute, but a little embarrassing when it happens at story time lol

I like that they will tell each other sorry for something(without my prompting) and the other will say, "that's okay bubba." I love that they sit and talk with each other like they are sharing a secret. I love when one doesn't feel good, the other gets him his blankie. I love when they help in the bath..."mama, I wash bubba!"

I'm really enjoying this age. They fight like maniacs but they are also so sweet to each other and really seem to enjoy each other's company a lot of the time.

My girls were recently given baby doll strollers. They keep sitting in them and pushing each other around the kitchen. I can't believe they haven't broken yet. Anyway, the cute part is when the kid getting pushed hops out and says "Korea's (Karina's) turn!" or "Ise's (Annelise's) turn!"

They also had their arms around each other the other day while they were standing at the coffee table and putting a puzzle together. So cute!
