We've been using pampers swaddlers since we came home from the hospital -- and they've always been great. They boys are in the sizw 2-3....and although they still fit fine (we have no problems durring the day) -- one or both of they boys have leaked every night for a weeks (your think i'd have done something different by now wouldn't you?? (sigh) ) so we need something new for night time.

Should we just move up to a size three ?? (and what kind -- Pampers baby dry -- crusers, huggies??) -- or should we try the huggies overnights??? ( they don't seem to have the size 3 round here -- would the 4 be WAY too big??? I've tried huggies supreams and crusers, for daytime, and I'm not in love with either of them...(I'm so sad we've almost grown out of the swaddlers)

    What do you use??

    TIA~!

I loved the swaddlers too, but they never work for sleeping. I have to use huggies for night time. It is the huggies snug & dry. We have had zero leaks since starting it.

Since we switched to Huggies Overnights we've had no problems with leakage. Zero.

If you can't find them locally, you might give diapers.com a try. They deliver for free if your order is over a certain amount, and their prices compare favorably with the best you'll find at warehouse stores, etc. I don't work for them! Just a happy customer :)

I was using the huggies overnights and was leaking, I switched to pampers baby dry and havent had a leak in 2 weeks. My girls wear size 2 during the day and I put them in size 3 for bed.

    Good luck!!

I would try a size 3 diaper and if they still leak go to Huggies Overnights. We had to do the same thing. I used to have trouble finding them in size 3 also. Our grocery store was the only place around me that had them.

I use pampers baby dry and love them! The cruisers are good too, and for overnight. i just buy whats on sale in pampers. I love pampers, not such a fan of Huggies but to each its own. Good luck!

I agree, go up a size and that should work at that age, but if not go for the Huggies Overnites.

Ditto for me on this reply! I ordered the size 3's (I could never find them anywhere else) from them as well, until they were big enough for 4's. I've found the 4's at Fred Meyer, Target, and other big box stores for even less ($9.99 & up for a package of 31).

Babies-R-Us has the disposable Diaper Doublers inserts. Now that my boys fit into a HUggies size 4, we use Overnights

I would also go up a size and if that doesn't work- huggies overnites worked great for us! I use them only at night (I don't think they have them in sizes smaller than 3).. Good luck!

I was using pampers size 1/2 no problems but decided to move my one girl up to size 2 huggies last night and she wet through them. I'm hoping this was a fluke or else I'll have to try something else for nights.

When my boys start leaking through, I move up a size. At that age, we used swaddlers during the day (some times generics), but used pamers cruisers size 3 at night. Worked great. Like one of the pps...I haven't had much luck with the fit of huggies so we tend to leak in those day or night time.

I love swaddlers and was very sad when they grew out of them! We tried baby dry and I hated the smell. I don't know what it was but those diapers have a powdery smell (to me at least, DH claims he didn't smell anything), and the combo of pee plus baby powder made me want to hurl. Now we use size 3 cruisers during the day and Huggies overnights size 3 at night.

    Hi,
We use huggies snug & dry and I use a size bigger(that seem to run alittle bit smaller)and we also put 2 diapers on each of them at night and have had no problems at all!
    Good Luck!

I put my girls in 1 size bigger at night. We have been using the Pampers size 3 at night - I know they aren't swaddlers in the size 3, I can't remember what kind of Pampers I use but it's whatever the size 3 are in Pampers.

Just to add a little side note. My friend & I were talking & it seems that Pampers work better for girls & Huggies work better for boys. No scientific research here, just alot of moms talking.

Thanks so much everyone!! We had papers baby dry on hand in size 3 - so we tried that last night, and I think the leaking was acutally worse then usual. So, I've gotten a package of both reguar huggies (size 3) and huggies overnigthts (size 4) -- we'll try the regular huggies tonight -- and if that doesn't work move on to the overnights!

    Thanks again!
