I really dont keep anything in there except for security bear blankets(which are very small) Do you keep soft toys/books/animals/blankets/pillows in your LO's crib?
is it better to have things for them in there or not?

When my girls turned a year I bought them pillow pets and they've been using them since. They also sleep with their blankies, violet, their glow dog, a cup of water and they get to choose one toy/book to bring with them each night.

DS sleeps with a toddler pillow bc he loves a pillow, and a soft blanket that he chews on to go to sleep..Guess its better than a paci LOL

DD sleeps with "My 1st Doll" which is a stuffed doll and my baby blanket from when I was a baby. She stole it from me :( its knitted so plenty of breathing room

My little ones have a pillow pet, a security mini blankie, a toddler blanket and of course their paci. They absolutely love being tucked in and they go straight to sleep! Oh, one of my girls also has a soft plush teddy bear but he always gets thrown out of the crib lol yet it needs to be IN there for her to throw out. ya, I know.. lol

I got pillow pets for my two when they turned two. Before that, they slept with their blankies and a couple of stuffed animals. Now they sleep with at least 10 stuffed animals :faint:

Mine have their piggies and 2 blankets each. 1 to cuddle with and one for me to throw over them when I check on them before I go to bed.

Until my guys were about 15 months, they only slept with loveys and the occasional board book. For Christmas, our nanny made small fleece pillows for them, since they kept dragging pillows off the couch and laying on them. Through the months they started asking for more and more stuff at bedtime, and now I'm surprised they have any room to lay down amongst the blankets, loveys, pillows, books, stuffed animals, etc.

I have toddler bedding on, so they each have a sheet and comforter. I made them small pillows a couple months ago so they each have a pillow. They each have several stuffies in there but DS doesn't sleep with any of them. DD has to have her minnie tucked in her arm or she can't sleep.

Since about one they boys have slept w/ a blanket and have since added a few stuffed animals. They try to take other things to bed w/ them but I have been able to, so far, keep those at bay!!

My two each have one security blanket, one crib sized flannel blanket that their aunt made them and a paci. Sometimes a toy. When I check on them before I go to bed, I put a sippy cup of water in their crib. They seem to be very thirsty in the morning.

As soon as it calms down around here, been very busy, I am going to be looking for some cute flannel to make some pillow cases and pick up some small travel size pillows for them.

Since 1 year mine have accumulated A LOT in their cribs! They have Scout/Violet, about 5 stuffed animals each (small), a blanket hanging over the rail that they pull in sometimes, a few small toys with blinking lights (to see in the dark), a teether, and their lovies. I like for them to have several things in there because when they wake up from a nap they will stay for about 30 more minutes and play quietly.

I started with a mini security blanket when they turned 1 and then added a soft toy about 2 months later and another one another month on and a 3rd soft toy a few months later.

I also give them both a small book when they go down for the day time nap, that way if they are not tired straight away they have something to do and also keeps them busy or a bit if they wake early.

We also have scout/violet, their loveys, multiple stuffed animals, a blanket, a sippy of water, and any other toys they sneak in there. I also like them to have an assortment because they keep themselves entertained when they wake up, which means momma can sleep in a little :)

my one dd has her favorite dolly that goes everywhere with her, 1 stuffed animal, and 1 blanket to cover her with (there are 2 others hanging over the rail that she pulls in or throws out)...my other dd has the exact same thing, except she has her favorite bear that goes everywhere with her...i have a 10yr old that has masses of stuffed animals, pillows, and blankets in her bed, so for now we're keeping it simple...lol

They are in sleep sacks and they have paci's. Anything else just gets tossed out of their crib anyway! Blankets get thrown off, animals get launched out, extra pacis go flying through the air... anything in their crib is just ammo!

There are about 6 stuffed animals, a glow worm, and their small crocheted blanket and blanket animals, which they won't let go of. Zoe is obsessed with stuffed animals and will try to hold 5 or 6 at once.
