    I have the Graco twin packNplay (not by choice, I'd registered for 2 single packNplays, but didn't get them, and then, even though she asked and I told her I'd rather not have it and have 2 singles, MIL decided she knew better and got it for us anyways, <_< and I couldn't return it anywhere), but am thinking of selling it.

    I'm debating...should I:

    1- Keep it, and if we ever go anywhere, just put them both in it for sleeping (I am hesitant on this, as they sleep in separate cribs, and tend to bother each others faces when laid together, move in their sleep, roll, etc);
    2- Keep it and put one in it and deal with trying to put the other to bed in another location;
    3- Try selling it and get 2 single packNplays, instead;
    4- Try selling it, and NOT get 2 more packNplays, and just put them to bed wherever else, if we go other places (hotels, family, etc).

    :huh:

    I voted for option #4, but my recommendation would be to sell/return the twin PNP and get only ONE single PNP. That is what we have/did. We really only used it for sleeping when they were both small enough to sleep together. After that it was used mainly for a changing station. We still have ours around, but they just play in it (i.e. climb in and out of it and pretend it's a boat/car/etc.). I think having 2 single ones would take up too much space. When they were small enough to play in it, it wasn't for very long. They quickly learned how to climb out so I think having two of them isn't worth it.

    As for what to do when you are traveling, our first trip to a hotel was shortly before their 2nd birthday. We had 2 double beds and my DH and I each slept with one child. We used a pillow "wall" on the other side to make sure they didn't fall out of the bed. For other short weekend trips at a relative's house or for napping situations, we just bring 2 big blankets and they napped on the floor. HTH!

    I'm not sure what the double looks like, but could you keep it for one kid and buy a single for the other? We always use two pack n plays and love them.

    they really only would be for travelling, which we may end up doing some, if not a lot...but I just don't really know for sure.

    I could keep it...but I mean...it's bigger than normal ones, and I'm so OCD that things have to be the same size. I know...I'm weird. lol

    Thanks to a suggestion here, I just ordered two peapod plus travel beds - if it's just for travelling, maybe you can sell the twin pNp and go for those. I can't wait to get mine! They say they are safe from birth through age 6 (or whenever they get too tall). I don't know how long you'll be able to use the pNp anyway (mine won't sleep in them - want to buy them? ;) ) and these will last a while! Plus they look so much better to travel with because they're light and much smaller than pNps.

    I voted #3...

    isn't the "twin" part of it the bassinet area? seems that they would be too large for that at this age?

    I have one pnp and then my inlaws got a used one and now a friend gave me an extra... I wish that I'd registered for 2 much cheaper ones... but I "had" to have the one w/the changing table and shade thing...

    We just finally got my inlaws to be able to have the twins nap at their house... the only way it worked was with one twin in each pnp. I definitely think that if you need to have naps &/or sleep other than their crib you'll need two of something. Good luck trying to figure it out.

    I would keep it and just buy a second single P&P.

    Mine are the same way as yours [reference to option #1]. They pull hair, nose, grab at eyeballs and clothes.. that would be scary if I put them together, haha. No one would get any sleep :lol:

    Me too, but I'm not picky about them being the same sizes. My mom bought a used one from a friend and bought one for herself. We also have one, but don't have to bring it anymore b/c she already has the two set up when we arrive. Now I don't use mine at all and wish I could decide what to do with it! :)

    I would try to sell it and get 2 single pack and plays.
    I actually ended up with 3 pack and plays. The one at our house is packed away and we haven't used it since they were 6 months old. The 2 at my mom's get used ALL the time. They sleep in them when they stay the night there (usually once a month or so) and we use them for naps if I am there with them on the weekends.
    One was a gift at my shower, the other 2 we bought used at mom to mom sales for $40 each so it was pretty cost effective for us to get 2.
    For our first big trip in 6 weeks we are planning on using these

    I´d keep it for them to play and/or sleep in and buy 1 single one for sleeping in. That way, you could take the double on holiday with you and have somewhere to contain them if necessary. Just a thought...

    I have 2 single PnPs plus 2 cots and ended up buying a bigger PnP for playtime as they need the space. I actually ended up giving MIL one of the singles so we have somewhere to contain my two when we go and visit her!
