What week did you find out the sexes of your babies?

I have heard people say they found out the sex of their baby as early as 13 weeks. I thought 20 weeks was the norm but I would absolutely LOVE to know sooner than that! Technology has changed a bit since the last time I gave birth :D When did you all find out the sexes of your baby/babies?

I wouldn't trust my Doc at 13 weeks.
Boys parts aren't always fully descended by then so you could get a boy if told a girl :D
We found out at 16 weeks w/ both of my pregnancies and they were right each time.

With my son they tried at 18 weeks, couldn't give me 100% though, so they tried again at 22 weeks and still not 100% so really we found out when he was born, that he really was a boy.

The twins I will find out at 19 weeks hopefully. I have another 5 weeks to wait.

    I was a day past 20 weeks.
My Dr tried at 18 & 19 weeks on the portable u/s but wasn't able to see it because of their positions.
The previous 'big' u/s I had was at just over 12 weeks, which was far too early. Though we did think we saw boy parts at the time.

Our u/s tech took a guess at 15 weeks, but told us not to trust the results until our 20 week u/s. Well, her guess was right and it was confirmed this week that we are having a boy and a girl!

My sister (who is an ob) said it's actually more reliable when you get a girl result, b/c all babies start out with swollen genitals so it is easier for a "boy" early on to turn into a "girl" than vice versa. I always thought it was the other way around!

We found out at 19 weeks at our first u/s. I went with my cousin to her u/s a couple of months ago and she was 15 weeks at the time and we would have been able to see the sex of that baby if we could have gotten a better view. Unfortunately, he had his legs crossed and we could only get guessing glimpses.

We found out at 20 weeks. I have not had any peri visits, therefore, I only had u/s' at the OB office. They wouldn't even bother to look at genitals until at least 20 weeks. I would sometimes try to guess, but it's really hard for an amateur to diagnose the sex of a fetus - I thought I saw some girl parts and it ended up being 2 boys.

We found out at 14 weeks, during our first Level II U/S. It took a good 3 or 4 other ultrasounds after that though, reconfirming their sexes before I actually started to totally believe that I was having one of each!!!!

I found out my baby B was a boy at 16 weeks. Baby A was not coorporating so I have to wait until 19 weeks to know the sex.

At our 15-1/2 week u/s our sonographer had her suspicions that baby B was a boy but told me 'not to hold her to it'. Well, turned out she was right, as she confirmed a boy and a girl at 20-1/2 weeks... :)

With my twins we got a 100% chance that we were having a boy and a girl...that's how confident that tech was... and the boy was so absolutely clear even to me...

With my singleton dd we got a 75% chance that we were having a girl..at 12 weeks! And it was a correct guess!

this time around we got a guess that we are having a boy at 12 weeks....but at my 13 week u/s she was unable to reconfirm...so we are waiting to see if we are really having a boy... that pp about the boy turning into a girl is making me nervous!! I would love a brother for my son... I would love a daughter too, but for some reason my brain is fixed on it being a boy...so if it's a girl I'm going to have to reset my mental framework! And we have absolutely no girl name picked out! ugh...girl names are soooo hard to find... I've had a boy name for almost a year now! hee hee..

20 weeks, and 23 weeks. Baby A would not reveal herself at 20 weeks. Had lots of U/S's before that, but the U/S machine was not high quality enough to pick up the genders.

Had a quicky u/s at 11 and 15 weeks, just to check for heartbeats. We found out we had two girs at 15 weeks. You absolutely couldn't tell at 11w, and the u/s tech said she never even "guesses" until 14 weeks.

[SIZE=10pt]We had our BIG U/S at 18 1/2 weeks and were told that we were having two girls. Needless to say we called everyone and started thinking of names and how we were going to decorate the nursery.

    BUT.....

Good thing we didn't do a lot for the next few weeks. We went in at 23 1/2 weeks for echocardiograms and were told that we in fact were expecting a GIRL and a BOY!!!

Of course we were/are very excited ~ every time we go in now...we always ask them to reconfirm for us! :D

    April :)

I found out at 19 weeks but it really depends. My SIL is pregnant and is 12 weeks and they are 95% it's a boy - apparently it's really "hangin" out there on the U/S.

Darn!!! It sounds like I won't find out at the next ultrasound then. It's on June 5th and I'll be 13 weeks. For some reason I'm even more anxious this time to find out the sexes than I was with my son.

We found out at 14 weeks. I was at my first of once a month appointments for ultrasounds at the hospital our OB is affiliated with. We're sent there as the doctor says they can more accurately measure twins. We were so excited to have a girl and a boy!! It's exactly what we wanted for our family and to think we had it all done with one pregnancy.

They would not tell us until 26weeks. Some rule???? I kept asking at every u/s but was told they are not allowed to tell us until 26weeks I guess because some people will do bad things if it is not what they want.

I was told they suspected boys at 14 weeks. Every ultrasound after that they said boys -- and my amnio (done for TTTS, not diagnostic purposes) confirmed boys (though this had been stated to me when I asked -- never saw the results and am not even sure the nurse had seen them -- she may have just been trying to put my mind at ease). My last ultrasound, the day before I delivered, my doctor was literally looking and mentioned my little girls were doing great. He about freaked me out. :)

Confirmed for sure at 21 weeks, but the ultrasound tech guessed accurately at 10 weeks... I begged her to tell me what she thought and she said not to hold her to it - she turned out to be right!
