When you give your child formula - what water do you use (distilled, infant, bottled, boiled)?

When you mix fruit juice and water - what water do you use (distilled, infant, bottled, boiled)?

Do you ever just give your child water?

I just use regular tap water for their formula. Their not drinking juice yet but I will be doing the same thing once they start juice.

All my kids get regular tap water, not boiled just right out of the tap. If there is water in the Brita and it is conveniently handy I will use that. I use regular tap water for formula, mix with juice and just for drinking.

Tap water because bottled water seems to give my babies gas. Apparently they crave the crunchy goodness of our hard water.

tap- i used to use bottled, but the more they ate, the more expensive it got. my pedi ok'd, so now everything comes straight from the tap & they actually get to have warm bottles now!

First of all, that totally cracked me up!

We used to use Babies R Us nursery water up until 4 months when the pedi told me we could have gone to tap a long time prior. We now use distilled, we're just so unsure about our town's water. I like it, but not sure they would! [IMG]

I use tap water for everything. I've never used bottled water and I've never boiled water, and they were just fine. I did have out well ested to make sure there wasn't flouride in it.

I use distilled water. I wont drink tap water, it tastes gross so I certainly wont give it to my kiddos

We boiled our tap water at first and then our pedi said it was fine to give them regular tap. Well, our tap water must have horrible stuff in it b/c as soon as we started using it the babies had horrible gas and would scream. So, we switched to distilled and they've been fine. Once they turned 6 months, the pedi said they needed to start getting some fluoride, so we mix half distilled and half nursery water with fluoride.

Filtered tap water. I did 4 weeks of infant water, but that was getting way too heavy. With my oldest I used infant water for 6 months.

We use boiled, filtered tap water for everything for the babies. (If that's not available, we use bottled water.) We've had notices from the DEP after the fact that the city's water may have been contaminated or something like that.

When the kids were first born I used nursery water because we lived in a small town where they were always going on a boil order....now we live in a pretty big town so we just use the tap water.....I think a lot of it depends on where you live.....

I mixed their formula with 'Nursery Water' it was a brand at wal-mart. At other stores it was called something different... but it always had a picture of a baby on it.

I mixed their juice with that also.

I never did give them just water, my mom said to give them sugar water, but I never took her advice.

We have good town tap water as far as I know. But I still boil all the water that's used to make their food.
