We are in the process of getting our girls tested to see if they are identical. They are Di/Di and I was just wondering how close your Di/Di Identicals were at birth. Ours were only 3oz apart. I don't know if that means anything or not. Thanks!

I have di/di ?????? (was told fraternal but after playing a round of "are they id or fraternal" and all the comments we get, not so sure and we're waiting to test).

1/10 oz difference in weight (L was 5lbs 14.4oz and J was 5lbs 14.3oz) and they have remained with 2-6 oz of each since birth. But I'm not sure birth weight indicates anything as far as ID or not.

    Good question though.

Di/Di boys- Baby A was 6lbs. 14oz. and Baby B 7lbs. 11oz. They were within a few ounces at our last u/s. So we were pretty surprised to see a 13oz. difference.

Baby A was 7 lbs and 2 oz. Baby B was 5lbs 8 oz. We had them tested and they turned out to be identicals. So, even with a big difference, they can be identicals.

I thought I would chime in to add a different spin on things :) My twins are b/g and were only 5oz different in weight.

I'm not sure if mine are or not yet but they were 6oz apart at birth. I think you should show us some pics though so we can guess :)

Hmmm. Interesting. I didn't think it would mean anything, just curious. We had their 4 month check up today and they are 15-2 and 14-10 and both 62.5cm long!
