What toys do you have two of?

I finally caved and bought a second Elmo yesterday. I try not to do that, because what they are fighting over today, they will probably ignore a week from now -- but their Elmo obsession seemed to be growing stronger, and I was sick of enforcing whose turn it was. Amy has happily adopted "new Elmo" and let Sarah have the original one, and they both carried their Elmos around all morning.

The other things we have two of (besides loveys and blankies) are:
    - sunglasses
    - old cellphones
    - baby dolls

Most of the stuffed animals are also owned by one girl or the other -- for example, the lion is Amy's and the black kitty is Sarah's. But they share (or take turns with) pretty much everything else.

What toys do you have two of?

We have 2 Elmos too!!! We also have 2 Rockets (from Little Einsteins) and 4 blankies (loveys that they sleep with they each have 2).

Play toys- we have 2 baby dolls, but almost everything else is single and they share. =] I really dont want to have 2 toys laying around....but Elmo is a bed and play toy so he was in high demand.

I forgot, we have 2 Doodle Pros too...since we started w/ one and had endless fights. The EACH got a trike for their birthday- but we have one cozy coupe, one wagon, one swing....

Start with 1 and see if you need another after a few days, sometimes the 'newness' wears off and sharing is easier. If you KNOW it will be a problem then get 2 and save a receit- you can return it if it is not needed! =]

It depends on the toy. If it is something small, they have 2 of it...but bigger things they share. They also somehow know which toy is theirs, even if it is the same thing!!

They have 2 of a bunch of small things. I just bought them each a tricycle for their birthday (3/26). And they have like 10 different dolls, 6 of which are the same (sextuplets). Otherwise they have one and share, well sort of. I find what is the hot thing one day is not so hot the next, so I hate to invest in 2 of anything.

    baby dolls
    baby stroller
computers (for toddlers but they are both different)

I guess we really don't have double of very much. Which is good because they have to learn to share. Fortunately, they are still in to doing different things at different times so there hasn't been too much fighting over toys.

Really nothing. They either share or wait their turn.

We don't buy two of many things. We did buy two cheap little play cell phones. They let us know in the store that one of those wasn't going to work! They each have their own dolly and there are a few other stuffed animals that were bought in twos. Usually, if we get two, we get them different (different color or animal or something). I think I'm going to have to buy another Fisher Price popcorn pusher though. There's been constant tug-of-war and screaming over it the last couple days. I'm kinda hoping it will blow over, but it seems to be getting worse.

I forgot, we also have two kid-sized chairs (though they are very different -- Amy's is an easy chair and Sarah's is a plastic backyard chair -- but they don't seem to care!). And two tricycles.

There are also several things we have a bunch of (trucks, trains, etc.) but none that always belong to Amy or to Sarah.
