It's in celcius not farenheit... so it's about 68 during the day and 40-50 during the night... I think... lol.

I just go with what I'm wearing usually. I keep the house at 69 (19-20), and if it's a bit chilly I just put long sleeves and pants on them (or one piece outfits). Once it gets colder I'll probably add socks but for now I don't bother. At night they sleep in a sleep sack, it's cotton for now but I'll move to fleece once it's colder. And I put long sleeves PJs on them, they usually don't need socks if the PJs have no feet as they are warm in the sack.

I'll probably keep using sleep sacks until they're 1.5 or something lol.

This is a great idea! Also, try a sweater on top of the long sleeve if they are cold.

Are you putting onesies on them under their clothes? That is a nice extra layer that helps insulate them. :D

I'm also wondering what to do about the cold hands at night. My son wears a cotton sleeper with feet and I end up covering him with a fleece blanket halfway through the night. But I don't want to pull it up to high or put it near his hands so he'll pull it over his face - so it's only about waist high. In the morning his hands feel ice cold to me. There room was at about 70 last night. I would think there'd be this issue even with a sleep sack because they're armless? Maybe my baby just has bad circulation...:)

LOL. Thanks for the clarification. Its still in the 90's here so that sound ridiculously cold to me. Mine always had cold hands when they woke up when they were little. I dont think it bothers them.

Last fall I dressed them in sleep and plays (footy pjs that look like clothes). It was easy and comfy and kept them warm.

We are going to New Zealand tomorrow, and its def. going to be cold there. I'm planning on putting mine in footed sleepers, cotton hats, cotton mittens, and then double wrapping them in small baby wool blankets (like swaddling, but I leave their arms free). If it gets too cold, I'll add a little cardigan to the ensemble.
