Just wondering what you keep the baby's room temperature at and what they sleep in. We've been keeping their room at about 68-70 and they've been in sleepers and sleep sacks. Its getting warmer so I would like to not have the air on a lot if possible...just wondering what everyone else is doing

We don't have a/c. When it's colder than 70 then we have them sleep in heavier weight sleepers. If it's above 70 then it's the lighter weight cotton sleepers. 75-80 we have them sleep in footless pajamas and short sleeves. Above 80 they sleep in pajamas with shorts and short sleeves or just a short-sleeved onesie. We run a fan in their room and will open the window if it's really hot.

They outgrew their sleep sacks (0-9 month size) about a month ago. We've decided not to buy any gro-bags (you can get them in bigger sizes) at least until fall, if we ever do get any. I think we'll probably just stick with sleepers of various weights and eventually graduate to blankets.

We have them in sleep sacks that are swaddled right now. David is close to being out of it because he likes his hands out. The upstairs is 75 degrees. The AC runs all night because DH works outside and he needs it cooler to be abe to get some sleep.

The boys room has a celing fan and a tower fan; both are running full speed. I am working to get them out of their swaddles because they are sweating.

Our babies' room is usually around 70 degrees or so all day long. We have a small fan that runs all night, for white noise, so it tends to stay cool in there. They usually sleep in fuzzier bodysuits when it's cool, since I do think they get colder at night. I find that when I put them in thinner cotton-like pjs, they wake up more often, probably just chilly and uncomfortable, so I turn on a small heater. Anything to help them sleep through the night!

our boys actually wake up more often if they're too warm. we used to bundle them up tight and go by the thermostat to judge the room temperature. but they'd get so warm and their tummies would churn and their reflux would act up more and they'd wake up spitting up and hurting. if they wore a sleep sack on top they'd wake up with flushed cheeks and sweating. now we go by feel and just use the thermostat numbers as reference (after all, thermostats aren't finely tuned instruments). we've found keeping it around 69-70 degrees on the thermostat is a comfortable temperature, meaning we could be up there in very light clothing and sleep fine. they wear footed rompers and we put socks on their hands. if we think it's likely to get cooler in there we put socks on under the rompers. i wear a very thin cotton sleeveless nightgown and i only allow myself to have one sheet when i sleep, because i figure if it's cool enough for me to need more then it's too cool for them.

Right now our house is set at 67 at night, babes have sleepers, swaddled in light blanket and a crocheted blanket overtop of that. They are warm but not sweating. :) If its a light sleeper i add an extra fuzzy blanket over their legs.

We had to turn our a/c on this week. We usually wait to turn it on but want to keep the girls comfortable. In the winter (with the heat on) we set our house temp at 70, now with the a/c on we set it at 73. Our girls sleep in lightweight footed sleepers.

It's always between 74 -76 in our house. I always have their ceiling fan on high and they sleep in sleepers with a blanket wrapped around them or they are swaddled. They seem to like being cool because if it's anything above 76 they get cranky from being warm.

The girls room is about 70 degrees and last night they slept in a onesie and shorts. They have a blanket that they sometimes use (on their body, on their head, anywhere!). They seem to sleep better if they are cool- like their mom!
