    Hi ladies,

So when I had my twins I didn't pack enough stuff for myself...so I thought. I would like to put ona bit of makeup to make myself feel human.
Does anyone here pack their own clothes to where when they are in the hospital? I am having a C-section again but I just hate wearing that hospital gown for 3 days....

Also, has anyone brought a hair dryer with them? Reason being is when my hair air drys it looks awful! It's all over the place and I feel gross. So is that wrong to pack one? I guess I will have to wait once DH comes to the hospital each morning so I can go into the bathroom alond and dry my hair.
    Thoughts?

Any other things you ladies feel like you should/did have and couldn't live without bringing to the hospital?

    Thanks!

I packed my own clothes and makeup. I put on makeup the next morning just because I remembered how horrid I looked in all the pics when RaeLynn was born. I also packed flip flops to wear around the hallways. I can not remember what else I will think of more later! LOL

I just posted in another thread on this forum about this exact thing. After my oldest, I always pack makeup and a hairdryer. I didn't then and don't like any photos of me, and never thought about the fact that there would be a parade of people coming to see us in the hospital. I also take yoga type clothes to wear in the hospital for the day or so after having the baby. Something comfy, but that looks ok, you know?

I pack my own clothes, make up, and a hairdryer.
Along with that, an outfit for baby to go home in and a warm blanket for then as well.

Last time I brought my twin nursing pillow but did not get to use it since they were whisked away to the NICU.
Since this is a singleton, I think I will skip the nursing pillow and make do with what pillows they have there.

This time I am going to have made a monogrammed baby cap with her name on it and bring that for pics (and fun). :)

i packed way to much with the twins
but this is what i used

    hair tie
    tooth brush
    camera
    socks and slippers
    fuzzy PJ bottoms
Nursing tank top (so i had something under my gown, those things are so revealing  )
clothes for each baby to come home in and a blanket for each
    snacks for DH and me

cant think of anything else right now.
good thing about lots of family visiting is if you need something they are all to happy to bring you someting.
