what time is bedtime?

Naps kind of got screwed up today. They went down for their nap like 2 hours later than normal. Should I let them sleep as long as they need (what I am thinking of doing)? If so, they normally get a bottle when they get up (at 3), bath is at 4, then dinner is at 5 and bed is at 6 (long story why dinner is after bath). Since they are still sleeping, should I keep dinner at the same time and change bedtime to 2.5-3 hours after they wake up and just try to give them a bottle before bed or should I keep everything in the same order and just shift it all the amount of time later it will be that they are waking up compared to the usual. Confusing I know, sorry. Maybe if I post the two different scenarios below it will be easier:

say they wake up at 4, should I:

    cancel bottle at 3
    bath at 4 like usual
they eat dinner at 5 like usual
    have a bottle at 6:30 (normally 3)
    bed at 7 (normally 6)

    OR

    bottle at 4 (usually 3)
    bath at 5 (usually 4)
    dinner at 6(usually 5)
    bed at 7(usually 6)

I personally would do the the later scenario and still offer a bottle when they get up. We had the same thing happen in our house last night and they slept until 5pm with their last nap so we took the kids to Disneyworld for the 9pm fireworks. Seriously!! They did great. So I bet your will do just fine with a later schedule and then you can get them on track tomorrow.

so just do everything in the same order just adjust the time accordingly for when they wake up?

Agreeing with the PP... Just do everything in the same order. If you think they are a little overtired later then maybe you can "scrunch" the timing down a little and do a new thing every 45 minutes instead of an hour. It depends on the baby but we do wake ours in order to keep to a schedule. The twins always have a bottle somewhere between 2-3:30. If 3:30 rolls around and they are asleep, I wake them up. The only time I might not do that is if they had a rough time going down. With ours we need to keep to the bottle schedule because they can't take them any earlier than 3 hours apart or they throw up everything. They also only get 4 bottles a day. With my older DD I used to "top her off" before bed but these babies can't take that.
