Working moms, what time do you have to get up in the morning in order to get the twins off to daycare? I get up at 4 a.m. and am still late every day. Does anyone have any tips?

Yikes!! What time do you have to be at work? I get up at 6:15 and am out the door by 7:25 and at work by 8. All I can suggest is that you do anything you can the night before, make bottles, pack diaper bag, pick out yours and kids outfits. The only other thing that I know people do is to take a shower at night to cut down on time in the morning. I happen to prefer to shower in the morning, but it is a thought.

Hope you can find ways to cut down on time, I can't imagine getting up so early!! HTH

I'm up at 6:15am, too, out the door with the babies at 7:30am and at work at 8:00am. I prepare everything the night before, and take my shower...so, I get up, eat, get dressed, get the babies dressed and fed, and out the door. Like pp, I would suggest getting everything organized and done the night before...good luck!

Fortunately I have a fantastic husband who wakes up with me between 5/5:30. (We NEED to be up 5 lol) While I'm in the shower he dresses the girls and feeds one. When I'm done, I either feed the other baby or get everything packed or vice versa. On a good day, I'm out the door around 6:30. I'm considering taking my showers at night to make things run smoother but I like a morning shower because it wakes me up. Good luck and hopefully you won't have to wake up so early!

I'm up by 6. Shower, get DD1 up and ready for school, get my pump packed up and warm up bottles for the babies, wake babies around 6:45. Change them and feed them. Out the door around 7:10. At DDs school (also my place of employment 2 days a week) by 7:30. DD eats breakfast at school as that is just one less thing I have to do in the morning. I'd rather pay for her to eat there than hassle with her at home. The only thing I prepare beforehand is their morning bottles.

What kind of daycare? We take our twins to a home daycare (although she only watches our twins) and we leave everything there (pack of wipes, diapers, extra clothes, bottles etc) I dont ever have to bring anything but the kids.

I would get up around 6, leave by 7:25 and to work by 8. I would make the coffee the night before, pack our lunch etc. In the morning get up, get ready, feed & change babies and out the door we went.

Are you doing everything alone in the morning? do you prepare anything the night before? how long does it take you to get ready? How old are your babies? How long is your commute? can you leave anything at your daycare?

I get up at 5:00, but that is because that is when the boys get up. I could wait and get up at 5:30. I wait and do it all in the morning. I am a morning person and would rather go to bed early and just take care of everything the next morning. I leave the house at 7:00.

Good grief you working mums are busy in the mornings! Respect to you all. I really couldn't face doing that yet!
