I am sorry I am feeling a little frustrated and upset, so why not vent to everyone here. At least I think you guys will understand. I haven't been on in a while so please excuse my tardiness. I guess I should consider myself lucky my ds had his first full blown tempertantrum in the grocery store today so we turned around and left. This tantrum lasted for the drive home and at least full on screaming for another 10 min. My dh is home with the flu so I am also scared that everyone will be throwing up any day now. DS has started to poop everytime you put him down for a nap so up he gets to get changed and back down he goes again for his nap but today he proceeded to talk for an hour and not sleep. This is the first time he has never napped. I usually load everyone in the car and go for a drive. Not the smartest but sometime this is my only quiet time. I guess I was feeling brave today. We had to go to dinner at my parents tonight so off I go with an overtired baby and my dd who napped for 3 1/2 hours this afternoon. I guess she was making up for her brother. Bedtime was fun Carter screamed the whole time and screamed himself to sleep I guess he is overtired or probably getting sick maybe this is why he has been so off today. I just feel a little frustrated just when things start to go smoothly you get to have a day like today to remind that not everyday is sooo easy. I really am not looking forward to the terrible twos.

I am so sorry you had a bad day. I so know the feeling. We will have an incredible day, or at least a morning, and then they seem to fall apart for no reason!! I have a 3.5 yr old and 20 month old twins, so the terrible 2's will be here any time!! I try and remind myself that this too shall pass, but in the moment, it's not as easily said than done.

Hope tomorrow is better, just hang in there and know you are doing a wonderful job with your children!! :)

 So sorry you had a rough day. I hate no-nap days! Those are the worst. I hope he makes up for it tomorrow, and that no one is getting sick. I, too, was petrified that the 2's would be terrible since 20-24 months was REALLY hard. However, it's actually not been too bad (not perfect but way better than 20-24 months). Hope the same goes for you!! :)

  Sorry about the rough day.

If it's any help, the 2's weren't too bad around here... so there is hope. ;)

I am so sorry you had a rough day, it is so difficult when they refuse naps and have tantrums...for my DS I think he has so many tantrums because he cannot express himself the way he wants to. Doesn't make it any easier listening to them, though. I hope today is a better day for you

If it makes you feel any better Speaking of Grocery stores- today I put my kids in the cart in the parking lot...we were trying to get into the store when I hit a bump and DD slammed her face into the side of the cart. she had a HUGE BLACK SHINER under her little eye. It seriously looks like child abuse. On top of that, she was screaming bloody murder (of course she was, poor thing) but I went into the store quickly so I could pull the cart to the side and assess her face. While she was screaming the looks on the customers faces, you would have thought I really did punch her!

Some days are just ROUGH for everyone. :drinks: Heres to better days!
