What silly things do you do to pass the time?

Our babies are bf and therefore we have to give them Vitamin D in a little eye dropper. We give it to them everyday. When the babies were younger, we would each get a baby, line up our eye droppers and have races to see whose baby could finish all of theirs first!

Now that the babies are older, we also have races but it's moving/crawling races to get to the eye droppers. They love their vitamin D and specifically sucking on the eye droppers, so we put the eye droppers on the floor, put ds (who can crawl) at the other end of the room, and put dd (who does a half a crawl) about one foot in front of the eye droppers then and let them go crazy - it's fun to watch them race to the eye droppers! DS usually wins right now, only because he is actually crawling, but dd is working hard on it!

What silly things do you do, or games your play with your babies??

 

At the end of the day we play "hide and peek-a-boo". I put the girls in their walkers and I run behind a corner so they can't see me. They follow behind me in the walkers and when they get to me I jump out and yell "peek a boo" and tickle them. They love it and it helps us pass fussy time.

 

I cant believe your babies love Vit D. Thats amazing. I had to fight my DD for months to take it. When the boys just started walking we would line them up behind one of their push cars and one of us would be at the other end of the room and call them. It was so funy to watch them "race."

 

So cute! My girls were bottle fed and when they started crawling, DH used to put the bottles at one end of the room and they'd race to crawl to them. Get it on video! I love to watch those racing videos of our girls!

 

Sometimes I pick up one baby and hold them over the other to get giggles out of them. DH does it now too sometimes. It's cute :wub: .

What brand of vitamin D do you give them? I can't believe they like it that much!

 

we have used both walmart and costco brands, they seem to like them all, I figured because it was sweet.

 

I play "come and get me" with Daniel in the kitchen. He's my crawler and he chases me around the island in our kitchen. He totally gets that you can go both ways too and usually catches me when I change directions. He loves it. I can't wait til Ben is crawling!

 

We have had races to see whose baby finishes their bottle first. My dh once looked at me and said, "My baby smoked your baby!"! :lol:
