I'm thinking its the Baby Bjorn Little Potty.

I have had and tossed several other potty chairs b/c they are too big and take up to much space.

I saw these seats on Jon and Kate and they were stacked! Love it.

    are these the ones? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000056J78

    does anyone have them?

    likes and dislikes?

    thanks

ETA: I read a review on Amazon that said Target sold something similar that had a skid gaurd on the bottom. Does anyone know about this?

I think it is the Baby Bjorn. We never used little potties, just rings on the toilet. I knew I would hate cleaning a potty. JMO

I HATE HATE HATE the idea of cleaning a potty chair out but I'm worried that they are going to have to/want to use the potty at the same time and I dont want to tell them no. Now that Im reading more reviews it sounds like this chair is to small and it actually makes more of a mess then its worth. I read that its sticking to the kids when they stand so the pee pee goes all over the floor. Im not into dealing with that. Maybe it will be a good one for the car?

I have been looking at the bigger one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000056J7...7NTR3SS7PMY17YZ

I just didnt want something that took up so much space. But I also dont want something that has a million pieces either.

    What to do?

They have a similar one to the Bjorn Little Potty at IKEA now for a whopping $2.99. I sprung for one (I know, big spender, right?) for the car. It doesn't look particularly comfortable for an everyday potty, but they are one piece of plastic, stackable, and have a rubbery edge on the bottom so they aren't sliding everywhere. I like also that it has a high enough guard build in for sitting boys. I was thinking I would put a plastic bag over it and use it in the car, then if they use it I can tie the bag up and not deal with the cleanup, really. ;)

For three bucks, it's not too bad!

My kids are too scared to sit on a big potty, but they still love pretending to go so I got a Baby Bjorn. Like that one, but the bigger model with the take out part they pee in. I love it. It's easy to use & easy to clean. Every once in awhile they use it for real & I just keep a bottle of bleach in the bathroom to clean it out with.

If they're potty training for real this summer, I was thinking of getting a couple of those smaller ones for camping.

I used something like this with my bigger kids (http://www.pottytrainingsolutions.com/prod...?products_id=29) and was planning to but the same thing for the girls. But, the one we had could be folded into a regular, on-the-floor kind of potty seat. It had a little bowl (the only other part to it) that you put inside it when you made it a seat. It also had a lid, which was great for teaching them to close the lid. This is the only potty chair I needed and I loved it. The one in the link is the closest one I can find, but I'm still looking for the one we had. I can't for the life of me remember who made it. :(

I have two of these (used them for the twins). I really like them. My boys liked sitting on them and they were comfortable. Also, because of the shape, there was no 'aiming' required! The shape is also nice because it puts children in a natural position to 'go'. They are a bit small - my boys used them from about the age of 2-3. When they were 3 they both officially potty trained and used the toilet exclusively. The potties are a bit of a pain to clean, but so is any potty chair. I would just dump everything in the toilet, spray with disinfecting cleaner, and rinse them out in the tub. If it was just pee I would just rinse it out.

just wanted to answer, you will need to get two and not used the toilet at 1st as when they need to go they have to go in the beginning and its always at the same time - I guess most of us have them eating and drinking at same time, so ends up potty at same time.

Usually in a morning its me dancing around as one goes and then the other haha and I'm too lazy to run downstairs.

Sorry to hijack the post, we just had the pottyes that have the base on and now they are used as stools in the bathroom

You might get a chuckle out of this, but I literally just emailed Jon and Kate (cause I saw the show where they answer emails) asking about potty chairs!! If I get a response, I'll forward it to you.

I think the ones they used were Baby Bjorn too but not sure if they were the little ones or not. Also, saw that she used a portable potty seat. It looks like one I saw from One Step Ahead (online).

I have two boys and am afraid the little potties will be too small. I actually went to our Target today so see them in person and they didn't have any of the Baby Bjorn brand potties. I guess I will have to check out BabiesRUs...I saw the Baby Bjorn potty seat got really good reviews. I think it would be handy because it's smaller to fit the kids so they don't feel like they will fall in, PLUS no dumping of potties. The only drawback is that they would have to use it one at a time AND they were pricey.
I think I'm going to check ebay.

Let me know what you decide and how it works for you!!

That's awesome! I'd be thrilled if the boys went on the potty AT ALL! I looked up ikea.com and they don't sell the potty seat online. We don't have one anywhere near us...we live in NC but we'll find something that works! lol

    keep us posted!!

I have 2 of the larger Baby Bjorn. We have tried other seats but the kids just took them apart. My DD has went several times on the Baby Bojorn and DS really likes to sit on it. We took the kids to BRU and had them sit on the little one, that is one piece, but my DS has long legs and it just didnt work.

We have two of these and I love them. I would prefer not to clean them but its easy. We also have one Diego ring...useless b'c it doesn't fit well on the toilets and it has fallen in. I also bought one of the cheap white, padded ones from Walmart and them love it. And if we were not nearing the end of PTing [FINALLY], I would have ordered the ones from One Step Ahead with the handles.
