I have so far had all my children naturally, and would like to again (except I may consider drugs this time). I'm hoping to avoid C-section, and wanted to get a feel for what my odds are. Thanks!

I put other. Baby A was breech bum on my cervix. Baby B was transverse. I was hoping they would change positions, but they never did. So I had my first c-section.

A was head down, B was breech and they were both born vaginally. I pushed A out and B was born by breech extraction + 1 push ...

Vertex - vertex, and we had a wonderful natural birth at 39 weeks!

Baby A was Vertex and Baby B was breech - would have tried for a vaginal delivery anyway but Baby B was estimated to be a lb bigger so we had a c/s.

Wow, thanks for all the stories. Sounds like my odds are fairly decent. I didn't realize transverse was so common. At my last ultrasound one baby was head down and one was breech, but of course it's really early yet to be worrying about that... not that it's stopping me! :)

A was breech & B was transverse. I had no idea this was so common! Thanks for the poll.

baby a was head down and baby b was breech. baby a came vaginally but after trying to turn baby b my ob couldn't tell if it was a foot or hand so had to have an emergency c section by being put under as the spinal wouldn't work. recovery wasn't as bad as i imagined having both deliveries, but i'll milk it til the day i die heehee. ;) good luck!!!

They were both head down at 35 weeks, but then at 38 weeks baby B turned breech. So, I put one head down, one breech as that is the way they presented when I was induced. I delivered both head down though as B turned as A was delivered.

So it looks like a third of them were both head down... that sounds like pretty good odds. And I have a fairly wide pelvic area, so no deterrents there!
