HELP!!!! I have not been a Mama that keeps Emily and Ethan in shoes. Now that they are walking we need some. Can you give me some brands and maybe some sites that sell these? Thanks!

We usually get Stride Rite. I think you can purchase them online, but if you have a store near you go there. They will size their feet to make sure you get the appropriate size.

I bought the twins squeaker shoes off amazon.com. They have a fit chart where you can measure their feet(for each brand). Their squeaker shoes are very wide in the toes but still narrow enough in the heels.

I only really buy stride rites, but you can get them online. I take them to the store and have them measured whenever I'm in the mall. I bought SR sneakers on amazon.com a few weeks ago on sale.

I am the same way. We never really get to go out especially since it has been cold. It warmed up here and I went to put there shoes on and they didn't fit. Here we are running around in scooby doo slippers to the stores to find shoes. Went from a 3 to a 5 for logan and a 4w to a 6w for dakota. We bought buster browns at "the shoe dept". I was told that if we couldn't find the right size for dakota we can order them online but I am not sure where. So i guess this really didn't help you afterall. well except to know your not alone in the no shoe's for the kids.

SR does have an online/printable measuring device on their website too!

Mine are wearing Preschoolians (preschoolians.com) and I've been very happy with them. You can print a paper version or they have a measuring tool they will send you for free. They also have a 40% twins discount.

We've been buying lots of cute shoes at zappos.com- They have tons. I recently got S & L some Keens for summer and DH just bought them some Converse all-stars.

I always go to the stores now. Mainly I go to Stride Rite. I have found that even if someone sizes them, the size "need" can change from shoe to shoe. For instance, during this winter, I was looking at boots at SR and the girls would have needed a different size boot than they wear in a sneaker! I'm not one for jumping through hoops to return something I bought online so that would have really irked me.

Good luck with shopping! It's something I like AND hate to do. LOL!

Like Jennie, I don't buy shoes online. It's too much of a hassle to take the chance of the shoes not fitting and then having to make special trips to return the shoes. I prefer to shop in stores...it's a pain, but sooo much easier in the long run!

I get them from ShoeBuy.com. Try using coupon code SAVE10 and the also give you 10% off your first order. No shipping and they have a great return policy. They carry Stride Rite's which is what we where. If that code doesn't work let me know and I will try to get a more current one. FYI...Last time I did E&E's on seperate orders and saved $10 off each pair that way. I got 2 pairs of SR tennis shoes for $45. That is what I would have payed for 1 pair in the store.

The girls wear Pedoodles. They are pretty true to size, the girls are still wearing them in 12-18 months in the "princess" and "flower power". We also have some preschoolians but I am not to fond of them. I love pedoodles, highly suggest them. I also just got them some baby Uggs and hot pink converse all stars for spring/summer. I can't wait to get them! Good luck, I have a shoe buying addiction, it's really fun. [IMG]
