ones may have a sinus infection? My older ones never had one and not sure what or when to suspect that this may be that instead of a cold?

when I have a persistant sore throat, then I figure I have a sinus infection. What happens is that my sinus' drain into my throat at ni ght and so in the morning I wake up with a bad sore throat. Kids? I don't know... as far as I know, they have never had one.

The consistant dripping sinuses is a clue-usually comes with a night time cough. Also, my kids always get yucky breath with a sinus infection. And, usually if their noses have been gunky for a couple of weeks, and some tylenol or ibuprofen makes them feel better and you see no other reason why they would need it.

Yucky breath, gunky noses, and eye discharge can also be a sign.

All of the above plus greenish discharge/gunk/boogers.

Dave had a sinus infection when he was 11 months old. The only symptom he had was sudden uncontrollable vomiting from swallowing all that gunk. If you feel something is wrong, then trust your instincts and contact your pedi.
