What large toys do you buy?

Just curious what larger toys you've purchased and which ones you've left to playgroups/preschool?

There are so many things I'm thinking about getting, but don't necessarily want my house to be littered with so much crap (we don't have a dedicated playroom, just their bedroom and the family room...which really has become a play room, it's just that I actually have to look at it when they are sleeping.

I bought a Little Tikes Activity Garden (now discontinued) but I got on Craigslist... and my boys love it. I have an inflatable pool with ball pit balls in it. that's most of our large stuff.

We have a large wooden playset, sandbox, see saw, Little Tikes Bouncy House, riding zebra, sit 'n spin, Push Buggies, Cozy Coupes. We have a lot of stuff, but we don't "playgroup" that much either.

We have a cozy coupe(at a garage sale for $7), a laugh and learn piano(my girls abosutely love it and I need new batteries), laugh and learn play house(which may have to leave because one stands on each side and they rock it but they have played alot with it), bounce and spin zebra(I refused to pay $40 for it we found it barely used and already assembled for $20 at children's orchard), swing set with slide(my dad made the a frame and we bough swings and a slide and used pool steps for the slide :p plus its pink), turtle sandbox(a gift from a friend after they got a new large one)

Big things we want for b-day/christmas:
    Trykes http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?p...rentPage=search
An outdoor play house(it would stay inside till spring(we did this with my sisters) http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?p...rentPage=search

We also don't go to playgroup

For Christmas and B days (2 months apart) I will ask for big things people can go in on together (like my siblings)....

OR, instead of buy 2 little things each for a b day, we will get a large thing. To me, its less little stuff to sort through. ANy big items I will also look on Craigs list or ebay for them used.

The cottage by little tikes can run over 150 buks and more. On ebay I got it for 70 and they love it. The sandbox we got them for the summer new...Sand table and picninc table was a gift for B day...as was an outside whirl a bout toy. We got them a train table for their birthday last year. I also bought them a work bench for 25 bucks with all the tools used from craigs list. I find big toys much easier to keep clean and organized, and, when your done, they have great re-sale value. My cousin has kids about 2 years ahead, so I am also getting her Step 2 kitchen soon, since they are passed that stage.
