We had been using those Nuby divided plates and i'm not sure if they are safe as far as BPA goes.
Any plates, besides our regular dishes, that you can suggest.
This is so crazy that we have to worry about what our kids are eating and drinking from...not to mention their toys as well.....uggghhh!!!

I use Zoo Pals or the Dixie Dora/Diego plates. They enjoy them and I dont have to worry about them breaking.

We have a variety of plastic dishes and bowls we use and some cute Thomas and Percy spoons and forks!

I have a wide variety of plates with the little separators and some without. I don't know if they are safe or not!! :umm:

We have a few tupperware bowls and some of the Nuby plates (I love them). We also have some melamine character plates and some other plastic ones that were a buck at the grocery store that I love!

We have a random assortment of plastic plates. I try to use the styrofoam (is that how you spell that???) or coated paper plates (I know, I'm so bad for the environment!) when we aren't having something heavy or messy just to cut down on dishes.

Another one that uses plastic plates with characters, but their favs are the Dora and Diego ones. I didn't even know the BPA was for plates too!  Guess I should have read about it some more.

They boys just use the same plates/dishes we use. I do keep a stack of the Dora/Diego paper plates on hand for when they want a quick snack. Other than that, they use "real" plates. :)

I think the BPA should be fine as long as you aren't heating them in the microwave or putting really hot food on the plates, and stop using them if they get too scratched.
We use some novelty plates I got from the dollar section at Target, and Backyardigans plastic plates. I also use paper plates sometimes. I could probably go to regular plates, but they kind of like having their plates.

We also have a couple of the plates with the character themes on them with dividers but most of the time we use zoopal plates or just regular paper plates from Sam's club.

I buy the children's divided plates from the Dollar store. They are microwavable unlike the plates at Target and they come in packs of 4-5.

I just use the melamine plates for mine. I don't microwave them though.

We all use melamine plates. I got a set at costco last spring. I usually have the girls use the small plates while dh and I use the big plates.

I really haven't worried (and won't) about the whole plastic thing. So we continue to use the divided plates that we have. Its easier for the kids to use and helps them with scooping of their food.

I don't micro the plates either. I heat everything on our plates and cut there as well. Their plates are for serving only. I have been buying a variety to see what works for us. So far I can tell you than they have all been dumped and/or thrown to the floor and not broken.

We probably have the same dishes! :) I got a brightly colored set last year, too. And a lot of time, we use the big ones and they use the small ones.
