what kind of diapers do they sleep in?

we are leaking through our diapers/clothes almost ever night- wjat kind of diaper works for you? and do you go up a size at night?

For during the day we us size 3 Kirkland diapers (Costco brand) but at night we are using Huggies size 4 (they were on sale). We go up a size and usually buy Pampers unless Huggies are on sale, but I do prefer Pampers better.

 

we do pamper cruisers during the day and at night overnight huggies. i am happy with both. i do the same size for day and night

 

We use Huggies Overnights to sleep in. They are thicker and made for longer stretches of sleep. They start at size 3. If you don't want to try those you can try going up a size, but I know since mine sleep 12 hours we have to use the Overnights.

 

When we were using disposables, it was usually Pampers Swaddlers/Cruisers. When we switched to cloth, we used Happy Heinys with two hemp inserts with a microfiber insert on top. Hemp holds a lot of pee while microfiber absorbs quickly.

You can buy diaper covers (there are cheap ones made of nylon or nicer ones made of a very thin wool or fleece) and put those over your disposables to stop any leaking.

 

Pampers Baby Dry size 4. He's in size 3 for the day.

 

We had the same problem, so I contacted Pampers (via their website) for advice on which type they would recommend. They emailed back promptly and said to go up a size, and also to try the cruisers (we were using baby-dry). It worked great, and as an added bonus, they sent me coupons on the mail for a free package of diapers! Good luck!

 

Pamper's Baby Dry (night diapers) in the same size. They are amazing!! Never leaked once. They supposedly shrink with the baby's belly as it gets smaller during the night. Of course, you do have to throw away a 5# diaper in the morning!

 

We are still using pampers swaddlers and they work great (although your babies are much older than mine!)...they sleep pretty much 10-11 hours and I don't get up to change them unless they wake up and have a stinky.

 

My girls are 15 lbs and 17 lbs, and we use Huggies size 4s or Kirkland (Cosco) size 4s at night, and we don't have leaks.

 

We use a generic Canadian disposible (Teddy's Choice) in size 2, then cover that with a Kushies cloth diaper & cover. Since we started doing this, we haven't had a single leak at night!

 

we also use pampers cruisers at night. However, now after reading the other posts I am interested in looking into the overnight diapers...

 

My oldest always had Cruisers. She started sleeping 12 hours at 3 months and we never had any issues.

The twins are in Swaddlers or Target brand, both of them work fine (so far) for us, but then they still wake up once or twice in a 12 hour period.

 

I swear by Costco Kirkland brand--cheap and NEVER leak. Everytime we visit my mom, she has Pampers because she doesn't have the Costco membership, and EVERYTIME my son leaks through at night--plus the Pampers have that gross jelly stuff that leaks out and very wet diapers--none of that with Kirkland--love em, love em, love em! And, no Costco isn't paying me to say that!

 

My little guy leaks, so he wears Huggies Overnights and those work great for him. His sister can wear any diaper, for any length of time and never leak. For daytime we use the Sam's Club brand.

I love love love the Pampers Baby Dries for night. I love them so much that I should do a commercial for them. We had trouble with every other kind until these. We use the same size as the day. I use cruisers during the day and the baby dry at night. Good luck with dry nights ahead!
