hope everyone plays...if they do, imagine how many new ideas we can all try...i'll go first. my 19 month old twins will always eat hommus and tabouli on multigrain bread, even when they have colds and don't like anything else. looking forward to everyone else's responses!

My girls aren't that picky, but sometimes it's hit or miss, except these things are always a hit:

    PB&J
    Pizza
    Grilled cheese
    Fish sticks
    Garlicky (scampi) noodles
    Mac n cheese
    Creamed spinach
    Roasted beets
    Whole wheat bread
    Challah bread

Favorite meal is hard to say. Probably pizza.

Tortalines with cheese is a current big hit. And grilled cheese sandwich, and scrambled eggs with cheese. And cottage cheese; I think they could eat an entire container if I let them.

Even sick or tired they'll eat carrots and corn. There not picky eaters but those two are there fav. Spagetti or any pasta types always get a clean plate as well.

Mini-quiche (the kind that come frozen from Costco -- the brand is called Nancy's). They will eat ~10 of them at dinner (between the two of them).

Sarah also always loves mac & cheese and yogurt (not together).
Amy would eat a whole avocado if I let her.

(How funny that the responses are so different -- mine rarely eat noodles and don't seem to know what to do with soup.)

Applesauce, yogurt, grapes and pb&j. Those are the things I can count on, if all else fails. As far a meal that's usually a hit... chicken tenders and noodles.

My girls are extremely picky eaters. They'd rather starve than eat something they aren't in the mood for (which is most food) and they can last through at least 3 meals! What almost always gets eaten is berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries are usually acceptable. They will also usually eat dry, plain biscuits or bread which is what they get offered when they refuse to eat their meal.

When mine were that age I could count on them always eating broccoli cheese soup, American cheese and ham slices, sliced apples, peanut butter, pretzel sticks, any noodle (mac and cheese, spaghetti, lo mein). They've always been very good eaters but these are the main things that I remember were always a hit.. and still are.

Mine like bread or waffles with PB, noodles, yogurt, apples (actually most fruit but apples are the favorite), goldfish crackers, muffins for breakfast. Mine, at 2 yr 9 mos, are being encouraged to 'try one bite'. They need to expand their horizons!
