I wasnt really thinking there were that many "twin" strollers out there. I always see the side by side's like the Combi (which I have) and of course the Duo (which I have as well...see a pattern here??) but after seeing the stroller that Leighann got, it got me thinking I might need another one  . Ha! Ha! But I really didnt know there were so many types out there. I have a 3 year old plus the boys so if any of you have twins and toddlers where a particular model works for you I would love to know. So which stroller would you pick if you could have anyone of them and why??

I think it really depends on where you live too ... here it's all MBUD, Valco, BOB, MacLarens and occassionally Combi/Arias. Not a lot of front / back, occassionally Gracos or Jane (don't remember exact name).

For me, front / back was a big no-no (exception was the short term double snap n go) and anything with a lot of plastic was definitely not an option. I wasn't impressed with the Combi, heard horror stories about the Aria at both BRU and Right Start, so I ended up with the MBUD for the neighborhood (and a board for my oldest) and the MacLaren Twin Rally for travelling and the car. Both high quality, low plastic, durable strollers. Sure, not the cheapest options, but I rather spend money on something that lasts (and has a good resale value at the end) and something that makes me want to leave the house!

For my singleton I had a Bugaboo, sold it for a very nice price after 2 1/2 years and was basically able to (almost) get the MBUD for that!

I just tried out the jane powertwin and this is my dream-come-true stroller! I was looking for an all-terraine that wasn't wide because we live in a hilly area and are walking distance from our little town. So I wanted a stroller that could handle the walk and also be comfortable on narrow sidewalks and shops. This totally fits the bill and rides like a dream (turns on a dime), and has a decent size basket for shopping. Oh and its light! Obviously not as light as my sng, but very light for how substantial this stroller is.

I don't know much about all the different kinds of strollers, but I would LOVE to have this one. DH almost had a heart attack when he saw the price tag!

    Hi Shelley,

Wow! That is a neat stroller with pink/blue for twins! I was curious for the price tag too -- that was expensive but has anyone purchase this stroller?

I saw somebody who had this one yesterday at my oldest's school Halloween Fair. They also have an older child (was 16 months when their twins were born) so she was in the toddler seat which fits this stroller. It's similar priced to MBUD and Bob and honestly that's the majority of the double strollers you see here in the area (but this special edition is about $200 more expensive than the regular Valco not sure if I would spend the extra money on that). I didn't even know they made this one!
