As usual my DH is being a pain about names, but hey at least I've gotten him to abandon Samantha.

So right now our potential names are

Rayah or Deanna with a middle name Adora.

There are a bunch of A's, especially since the last name starts with an A, but I'm willing to not fight with him over that.

In the meantime, I'm curious how you would say Rayah or Deanna? Would you have trouble pronouncing them? How would you pronounce those names?

    I would pronounce them Ray-uh and Dee-anna.

They both seem pretty obvious to me (this is assuming I'm right ) and I can't see either of them being difficult for most people. You might get a Deena once in a while as an honest mistake? I think they're both very pretty and unique. I don't know many girls with either name. :)

Nice choice in names i think. Good Luck!

    Ray-Yah and De-Anna.

And Dee-na is usually spelled Dina, at least where I'm from.

I personally think with the middle name you've got picked out, I'd go with Rayah, too many A & D's.

    I'd say Ray-ah and Dee-anna.
I have 2 girls named Deanna at my school, both in 5th grade. One is Dee-anna and one is Dee-onna. Dee-onna( :) ) prefers to be called Dee.
We also used to have a D'onna, who was pronounced Dee-onna.

    Thanks for your feedback.

The pronunciations we were thinking of were--Ray-ah and Dee-anna. I was a little worried about the Dina/Deena problem. We want something not common, but pronounceable. I know there are going to be a million vowels, and I didn't even think about all of the D's. DH has one of those in his last name too, LOL!

Were getting closer and closer, and I'm getting more and more tired :) .

I like both names, but when I see Deanna. I think of DeAnna Pappas from the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Silly, stupid show!
