Is there something that you do for yourself everyday? Finding the time to shower and get myself dressed everyday really makes me feel good, especially after getting ready and going to work for over 10 years. I also make myself a cup of tea to enjoy with the babies morning bottles. Never thought I would appreciate the little things so much!

I make sure to shower at least twice a week. Way less frequently than I'd like, but I stay in longer than normal and let DH deal with Wesley.

Each morning, I put Wesley in the baby chair while I make coffee and clean up whatever DH did in the kitchen after I went to bed. And I watch The Price is Right every day.

Coffee and TPIR daily is my thing.

I take a long hot bath every day. Sometimes I can do this while they nap but usually I have to do it after my DH gets home from work. I sit and read a book and keep the water running a little so I can't hear any cries!

I make sure that atleast once a day I get to use the internet to check my email, twinstuff, myspace and a dog chat group I belong to. I also get decaf coffee while I pump.

All three of my kids take a nap from 2-4. After cleaning up a bit, I lay down myself - usually around 3 - and read or take a nap. I call it my "Me Time" and I love it. If I stay awake, I'll watch Dr. Phil. [IMG]

I try to clean my house before I go to bed at night, that way I don't wake up in the morning and say "OMG this place is a wreck!" AND FEEL DEPRESSED ABOUT HAVING TO SPEND ALL MY FREE TIME CLEANING IT DURING THE DAY. (I'm not mad, Emma just hit caps lock and I don't feel like re-typing that!) Instead I wake up to a fairly clean home.

Also TS is my "Me time", it's nice to "talk" to other adults. [IMG] Daily showers, as well as getting dressed in real clothes everyday. But the clean house thing is a must!

I have my cup of English Breakfast Tea... mmmmmm....mmmmmmm....

I usually shower at SOME point during the day. Sometimes not till evening after they are in bed, but sometimes it's nice to go to bed clean.

I also try to get a massage a couple times a year. I ask for certs for gifts!! [IMG]

DH and I each take a stroller walk with the girls -- me on Saturday, him on Sunday. So in a sense this is something that I do for myself, because when it's his turn on Sunday, I get downtime. [IMG] I do spend some of it tidying up or watering the plants or whatever, but I make sure to spend some time on the couch with the newspaper and the cat.

I try to exercise at 7:30 every morning. That is usually a good time since it is right after I send my son out for the bus and the babies usually feed at around 6:30, and my daughter is usually still asleep. I have been able to do it twice now!

Recently since DH has been laid off I make sure I sleep in 1/2 hour extra every day. I get my International Foods French Vanilla Coffee (yes that instant stuff), and I always take a long hot shower and get my hair done and put on my makeup. Then I start my day. Showering and making myself look presentable makes me feel human.

Oh and I manage to watch Days of Our Lives if I am home. [IMG]

I stop all baby related cleaning, washing, dishes and housework at 7:00 everynight when the babies go to bed and have me time - and on the rare occasions DH is home, DH and me time [IMG] I try to get all that stuff done during the day while the babies are napping so it gives me a nice long chunk of time at night - if I don't finish it by their bedtime, then I try not to touch it... (doesn't always work - but it's my goal for myself)

I make sure I shower every morning and blow dry my hair, and even put on makeup. This makes me feel sooooooo mch better. I usually do this when the babies are having their morning nap right after breakfast (9am).

Some days I have a nice long bath in the evening when DH is home and I watch my Desperate Housewives every Sunday!

I work out! We bought a treadmill in the basement, or I do a video workout. It is the only thing that saves my sanity sometimes. ha ha

oh a shower, is that what that smell is!! just kidding... i can't say that i shower and get ready everyday, but i know that i would feel better if i did. i try to finish my day by about 10pm so i can unwind before bed. my DH is good about watching ALL the kids maybe once or twice a month and i go out with all of my girlfriends... dinner, dancing, the whole bit. that really gives me some extra steam.
