At the moment and not sure to die down anytime soon are:

Classic Cartoon Favorites, Vol. 9 - Classic Holiday Stories (The Small One/Pluto's Christmas Tree/Mickey's Christmas Carol)

    Frosty the Snowman (1969)

Their very first Christmas DVD though was Baby Santa's Music Box. I remember them being absolutely glued to that. We watched it all year round. Even now, they like to see it sometimes. This morning, we watched Baby McDonald while getting ready for work/school. They also like Finding Nemo and Shark Tale. I find Shark Tale to be obnoxious, but they like it so, whatever. Oh, and Bug's Life.

Right now they are completely obsessed with Baby Einstein dvds and Brainy Baby dvds. They like anything that has to do with animals, colors, numbers, letters, shapes or just learning in general. Their vocabulary has GREATLY increased and I continue to be amazed at what they learn from them. Each dvd has a section called Discovery Cards that's like a flash card segment of the things you learn from the movie. It's really cool.

As for tv, they don't seem to really be into anything right now which makes it a little annoying because all they want to watch is Baby Einstein. Once in a while they will watch Yo Gabba Gabba and Blue's Clues.

    How old are your kids?

I'm actually still weaning my girls off the Baby Einstein CDs DVDs (edit). They watched one every night before bed for the first 3+ years of their life, a routine I'm stopping now. But up until a couple weeks ago they were still loving these. We got great use out of them!

They also love Elmo's Potty Time (or whatever), Backyardigans (we have a couple CDs of episodes for the minivan for long trips) -- these they've also liked for a long time. The Backyardigans is their favorite show hands down.

Now that they are a little older they also love several of the Disney movies: Little Mermaid, Cinderella and Aladdin being their favorites. Oh, and Nemo.

Sesame Street's Elmo's World "The Street we Live On" - its actually a 35th anniversary Sesame Street from 2004 - they watch it like every night when they start getting rowdy!

Now that Christmas is coming, my girls can not get enough of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and they love Dr. Seuss' Sneetches which is on the Green Eggs and Ham video.

Mine LOVE Baby Signing Times, they know the sign for "baby" and will make this sign and say "Baby" and point to the TV when they want to see it. Glad to hear we're not the only ones.

Mine really don't sit and watch tv much may be like 5 min at a time at the most. They do ask for Barrny once in a while, I have it on TIVO and will dance to it. They also like saying hi and bye to the tellatubbys.

"Meet the Colors" They learned their colors after watching this DVD 5-6 times. I was amazed. They hardly watch any tv so I was skeptical about buying it but now they constantly ask for "Colors, More Colors...Peeeeaseeee!" I just bought them "Meet the Numbers".

Mine love Elmo's World. They will bang on the TV screen if they want to watch. GRRRRR. I have recorded a bunch on our DVR.

We also have tons of Baby Einstein videos, but they are sick of some of them. Right now, they love Baby Noah, Baby DaVinci (although I can't stand the drawing parts), Baby Newton (DH can't stand the dancing crayons) and Numbers Nursery.

Thanks for this thread! I got some great ideas as the 4 Baby Einstein videos and Sesame Street reruns that are on now are getting quite old. Babies need some new dvds so mommy and daddy can stay sane. LOL

My older two are really in to "Wizard of Oz", "Polar Express", "Monsters Inc", "Dora", and "Barney". They really love their shows!!!

The younger two could care less. Once in a while I can get them interested in Baby Einstein for 10-15 min. or so.

My kids LOVE Veggie Tales - my son's world revolves around Bob & Larry. They also like Franklin, Bob The Builder, Dora and I let them watch some Disney shows. Veggie Tales videos and music are still #1.

My twins of 2 years ols adore Pooh, especially the Heffalump movie. They also enjoy Shark tale alot, and giggle about almost everything. However, their concentration span does not allow them to sit through the entire movie, they only watch about the first half.

Hi! About DVD my baby really liked to watch old cartoons, which we still had on disc, when I gave birth to the second, then dvd we understandably did not have, they became just irrelevant, but the discs remained. I wanted to show these cartoons to my youngest son and then used rip dvd on mac and ran these cartoons on my mac, it is very convenient!
