I've seen the AG Body Book mentioned on a couple of topics recently. What is it? Do I need it for my 8yo girl?
    Thanks!

It's a fantastic book. American Girl Library...The Care and Keeping of You. I got it at Target. My oldest and I read it when she was in 4th grade...she is 12 and in the 6th grade now. It does a great job of explaining puberty and growing up for girls. It talks about getting your period, shaving, needing deodorant, just all around taking care of yourself and what girls need to do to take care of themselves as they start to get older. It even talks about friends/friendships. I thought it was nicely written and easy for young girls to understand. I would definitely recommend it for girls and especially before they go through any kind of change. :good:
