what is that sound?!?!?

so my life has just become filled with new sounds...

i just put LOs down for naptime and i hear what sounds like hammering coming from their room... so i go peek to see wth is going on-DS(of course) pounding on the wall! he saw me and cracked up laughing!

and DD has decided that screeching at the top of her lungs is her new method of communication, it doesn't matter if she is happy or mad, screeching is her favorite sound. at first i always ran to her thinking that she was hurt or stuck, but no, just talking..

on a side note, DD is just getting strong enough to pull up to standing and when i went in to see about the hammering she was standing up in her crib for the first time, unfortunately she doesn't know how to get down yet, so i anticipate lots of screeching(not the happy kind) until she can figure out how to fall down... lord, give me strength...

 

Hahahaha! Cute. Now the fun really starts.

LOL! I thought you were going to say they were grinding their teeth! J and R did that all the time and I got goosebumps constantly from it. Jake is a screecher too and I'm sad to say it hasn't gotten much better!

Ooooh, I HATED that! I still cringe just reading about that sound! :bad:

 

:wub: Mine have taken to tapping their paci's against the crib railing, makes a horrible racket at 3am!!! :laughing:

good luck. owen had two "OH GOD I CAN'T SIT DOWN!" moments at the crib rail last night.

 

oh yeah, gotta love the teeth grinding! DD did it constantly for a while but has pretty much quit and DS still only has 2 teeth, so at least i didn't get it in stereo!! LOL
