What in the world do you pack for your kids to eat at daycare?

I need options ladies!! My girls just started daycare and next week my hubby will be taking them and picking them up 3 days a week (I will work as an RN 3 days a week) and we need easy (and hopefully relatively nutritious) ideas of food options to pack for the girls to eat at daycare. They eat basically everything that I have ever given to them....no allergies....14 months old.....HELP!!

Mine could live on those Gerber pasta pick ups. I should buy them by the case! They also like cut fruit, cereal bars (like Nutragrain ones), mac & cheese, some lunch meat, yogurt, pudding, I'll come up with some more and get back to you if I can. But we are currently in a veggie & meat pasta pick up, yogurt, and fruit for lunch rut ourselves.

While our current daycare provides snacks and lunch, we used to pack our oldest dd lunch. I'd imagine your daycare is willing to microwave lunch items. Here are some suggestions that we used to pack for her, and what I currently feed my 15 mo girls now for lunch at home:

    drained chicken noodle soup
    drained veggie soup
    lunch meat turkey, ham
leftover chicken, turkey, pork from night before
    leftover casserole
    mac & cheese
    cheese slices
    butter bread
    pasta w/ butter or oil
    peaches
    pears
    bananas
cooked carrots, green beans, peas, etc. (whatever we had the night before)

HTH! :) (I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of at this hour).

We did a lot of what Jen (pp) did.

    Mac n cheese
    Drained chicken noodle soup
    pasta w/butter and cheese
Sandwiches: pb&j (if its allowed), cream cheese on pumpernickel bread, grilled cheese
    Stars & moons (cheese shapes)
Cut up fruit (watermelon, apples, pineapple, pears)
    Cooked Veggies
    Yogurt
    Cheerios
Snack bags of: Goldfish, Teddy Grahams, etc

    HTH!!
