What if my stomach is always hard as a rock?

Everyone tells me to judge any contractions or BH by how hard my stomach gets.... But my stomach is always hard as a rock and has been for a couple months now that I popped. The one thing I have been feeling in the last two weeks is this weird pain right below my chest (which is my uterus since the OB says he couldn't find the top of my uterus when measuring me he said thats still baby) it feels like some one has there hand rapped around my top ab muscles and is sqeezing them so I cant breeth. Does this sound at all like a BH It mostly happens when I am moving around but at times when I'm just sitting around. It's getting so hard to breath these days its hard to tell whats going on. It kinda feels like I have broncitis at times except without the coughing.

 

You really can't tell when your having a contraction based on how hard your belly is with twins. Mine was always hard. For me, BH's felt like someone had a belt around my middle, and was slowly tightening it.

 

My belly was always hard also and I could never breathe fully. What your describing doesn't sound like BH, but who knows. When I got them I would feel a tightening, and even though my stomach was always hard, there was a slight difference. Toward the end they became pretty painful.

 

I never know what's going on with me either (so you're not alone). I get some weird tightenings, but then I think it just the baby moving. I don't really know. I never had BH's other than the cramping type when I was pregnant with my singleton. And like you my stomach is hard alot of the time.

 

I agree with all the posts- my tummy is pretty much always hard as a rock and I am almost 30 weeks. Sometimes I think there might be some contractions and sometimes not.
