So I thought I would pass along what I have learned so far in my hunt for free formula from Enfamil. Here are the steps I have taken so far.

    1) Called Enfamil and told them I had twins. They took down information and told me I need to contact pediatrician
    2) Called pediatrician (actually called multiple times-have to keep at it) and told them Enfamil told me that mothers of twins can have free formula from Enfamil. Pediatrician told me that they have to contact their enfamil representative.
    3) Enfamil rep came to pediatricians office and took down our information ( I was not there, doctor's office did this). Supposedly they will either call me to come pick up formula, or send it to me.

I have heard various things. Things such as I will get a case of formula, I will get two cases of formula, I will get cases of formula, I will get a years worth of formula......

We will see. I am at stage 3. I will let you know what happens. It is worth a try even to get a can of formula these days.

So far what I have learned is that you have to go through your doctor to get the free goods.

Hope this helps some of you

I didn't do anything... Enfamil chased us down like we are celebrities - for real! They called and called and called - I was breastfeeding and didn't need the formula!!! When I finally took the call We got two cases free. I donated them. I think that is the norm (the two cases I mean ).

    Hope that helps some.

I did a version of this but I talked to my pedi in person when I was at our 6 month check-up. The pedi's nurse gave me the form they normally fill out and told me the rep is sometimes hard to contact but I was welcome to try. I filled out the form and faxed it to the number listed on it and I received 2 cases of concentrate cans by UPS within 10 days or so. Definitely worth the effort. I hope you score big.

We also asked the pediatrician who filled out a form and gave it to the enfamil rep. We had two cases of concentrate delivered via ups with a couple of weeks.

Here is the information to get a free case of Enfamil Enfacare.....this is in addition to the Mulitipule program that they offer through the local rep!

    1-866-4BABY12 - exp. 12/31/08

You may receive a free case of either Enfamil Enfacare LIPIL 2 floz Nursette Ready to use bottles, Enfamil Enfacare LIPIL 12.8 OZ Power or Enfamil Enfacare LIPIL 32oz ready to use....

Call this Toll Free number above...tell the rep that answers the phone that you are calling about the free case of formula....they will ask for the expiration of the offer on the certificate use the one above. You can call more than once and have it sent to multiple addresses if you so desire. (using different names)

    Good luck!

I would do this soon, as the exp. date is 12/31....so you have time to get some to stock up!

Mine ate Enfamil Nutramigen which is NOTcheap.

I called, and had pretty much the same experience - they told me to call my Pedi.

Well, not long thereafter I received 2 cases of Nutramigen at home - I think it came FedEx or UPS. I was happy and thought that was it. A few days later, I got a call from my pedi's office saying they had 2 cases for us there. It was fabulous!

Our pedi's office also gave us a ton of samples - mostly the little pre-mixed bottles, because they don't last as long - they were happy to give them to us rather than let them spoil. They must taste different because the twins didn't like it straight - but if I mixed it with their regular formula it was just fine.

    So, be persistent!

I'm pretty sure the hospital where we had our babies signed us up for this, as we had two free cases of enfamil delivered to our doorstep a month after they were born. Similac also have a similar giveaway. We had a referral form (given to us from a similac rep, but I'm sure you can just call them), and sure enough, we got two free cases of that too.

Anyone deliver at a "mother-baby friendly" certified hospital where they absolutely WILL NOT offer formula or let formula reps in the door? My hospital is like that; it was a great experience with my singleton, very pro-breastfeeding and all, but now that I am expecting twins I am a bit concerned about supply and would like to have a stockpile ready just in case. Any idea how to accomplish this if there are no Enfamil reps or forms at my doctor's office? I will try the 800#; just curious if anyone had a similar experience.

FYI - I called the Enfamil 866# and was told that I would need to go through my pediatrician's office to sign up for the Multiples program and get free formula sent to me, AFTER the babies are born. They cannot sign me up for the program over the phone. I did tell them that formula reps/samples weren't allowed through my HMO and they didn't know what to do about that. So I guess we will just wait and see. Here's hoping that I don't need it!

I forget where I read about this, but I think it was on a list of all the things free or discount you can get for having twins post on here. I asked my pedi about it, and she said absolutely, she'd send it in for me. I didn't even see a form, but I received 2 cases a couple weeks later of 12 cans each of the concentrate formula. I've been saving it, as we are taking a 5 day road trip to TX this weekend, and then in 2 weeks we are moving to ID (another 5 day road trip), and am going to use it for these. Pedi also gave us 3 free sample cans of powder formula, and said anytime they have samples, they'd give them to me...sadly, we've not been back since then, and won't need to before we move.

I just tried to call the 1 866 number and I think I am red flagged in the system. They told me I had to go through the doctor's office. I tried!

If anyone wants $17 worth of coupons that are expiring at the end of the month and an 8 oz. can of Enfamil Lipil formula, pm me. It's free. I want to get rid of it before it expires. I also have 4 single-serve packets that are expiring this month too. Hopefully, someone can use it.

good for you all!!! To the original poster - please don't be surprised if you receive nothing!

I called all 3 of the formula companies (Enfamil, Similac and Carnation Good Start) and didn't even receive the extra coupons they promised me...they all told me flat out that they don't do free formula for multiples anymore - period. Carnation offered 2 cans of powdered IF I faxed/mailed in copies of their birth certificates showing they were born the same day - sorry who has time to do that with twinfants...

I called the pedi's office to get freebies (DS was having issues with milk formula) and they could do nothing for me either...so good luck!

I had two cases of liquid enfamil delivered to my house about two weeks after I had the babies. I think my hospital signed me up for it. I had no idea where it came from but it was a great surprise when I opened the boxes!
