I have been pretty down the past few weeks with various annoyances related to my pregnancy. And, I'm tired of feeling so sorry for myself. So, I've been trying to come up with things that I've enjoyed or liked about this pregnancy, and I'd love to hear what other mamas have liked.

    For me, I've enjoyed:

*Not having to do dishes (I can't comfortably reach the sink!) or laundry (can't carry it up/down the stairs)
*Eating all the ice cream I want
    *Daydreaming about girls' names
    *My baby shower
*Outfitting for two babies! (any excuse to do a little shopping)
    *Having terrific skin
    *Growing fingernails
    *Getting massages

    Gosh, so much!

I'm in a weird situation since I'm carrying my sister's babies. But when I was going through my twin pregnancy, I didn't enjoy it all that much, because I spent so much of my time worried about something going wrong, being put on bedrest, PTL, etc. So this time, I'm trying to just enjoy it more, take it all in. Especially because I know this is the last time I will be pregnant. I love feeling my niece and nephew move around, I love seeing my body change, and knowing what amazing things are going on in there! I love each day that passes, knowing that I'm already 35+ weeks and how good I'm doing and how big and healthy these babies are going to be when they arrive! I do enjoy the nice nails and hair as well ... and the excuse to eat things that maybe I wouldn't quite indulge in as much as I do!

I think this pregnancy has been my second chance as enjoying this whole process ... and I'm really trying to take advantage of it!

All the shopping, sorry but it is nice to shop for everything over again. Its been 4 years since we had our first AND you seem to need so much more for 2.

Oh and eating everything I like.

    A few things...

    Certainly the no-guilt eating
Actually feeling more comfortable with my back and body than I did with the pregnancy of my singleton
Learning all about twins and entering the world of multiples!

I would have to say that my most favorite thing is feeling both my babies kick at once! It is a miracle to feel them kick and to know that there are 2 itty bitty babies in there. I also love the fact that my son is getting what he wants! He only asked for one sibling and he is amazed and excited that he is getting 2 siblings! Although now he wants me to have 11 children! Lol!
Other then that I can't think of anything else except for the fact that I can eat what I want and get away with it!!! Lol! :)

i enjoyed being the centre of attention - not only was i the first person in my group of friends to get pregnant, but i was having two to boot!
i loved the extra ultrasounds i was entitled to because my girls were mono-di - i loved getting to see them so much before birth.
i felt really sexy for a while there in my second trimester - very fertility goddess like. DH says he must have missed that part of the pregnancy. ;)
i loved seeing other pregnant women & feeling connected to them, even if we didn't say anything to each other.

I already knew I'd found the perfect man in my husband, but this pregnancy has made me appreciate him oh-so-much more!!! He cleans, cooks, does dishes, rubs my feet, listens to me whine (and sympathizes), tells me I look beuatiful and has been all-around wonderful. I feel like the luckiest woman on earth and will be only moreso when we have our babies home!!!!
