What Happens When Email Service Limit is Reached?

    Hey everyone,

    I recently switched to an email service and am currently on the free plan, which has a limit of 100 emails. I'm wondering what happens if I reach that limit. Will no more emails be sent, or will XenForo default to the built-in email system? For context, I am a cloud user

    I've been through this with my own setup—mail limits hit and stuff queued or bounced. One thing that really helped me early on was using an email warmup tool. It slowly ramped up my sending over time, so I didn’t raise red flags with the provider. Made a big difference in getting emails delivered without hitting limits too fast.
