What happened to my good shoppers?

I used to (until today) enjoy taking them to the stores. It was something to pass the time even if I was not buying anything. Today at home, S pulled N's hair so hard that N cried. I firmly said No and put S's had to his side. Well, he thought my response was hilarious because he laughed and did it again. This time I said no and took his hand and showed him 'nice' to Nicholas.

Later we were at BRU and all of a sudden N screams and I look down and S has his hair and a grin on his face. While I am sitting there holding a registry between them (like paper can stop them!) a lady asked how old they were and told me she has 14 month twins and 3 year old twins and said this is about when that happens! I ended up getting a shopping cart for S and keeping N in the stroller. Then when we went to Target, I put them both in separate shopping carts.

Obviously there is no way to stop the hair pulling in the stroller right? I have a jogging stroller that I think I will have to use because they cant get to each other so easily.

When were yours ready for the double carts (the target kind)?

Why cant they give hugs instead of hitting/pulling hair?!?!?!

It must be that 13 month age just like the other post that is going right now!

Mine are going through the same thing. I went to the grocery store w/ them on Friday and just had to leave the buggy and go home. I was soooo frusturated!!

Mine are terrible shoppers..no pulling hair, just because they don't have any! But, I do spend the majority of the trip putting Jake back in the stroller or shopping cart, because he can escape all types of buckles, seatbelts, straps, etc! It's exhausting! I haven't tried those carts with the caboose yet.

It's so funny you posted this because this past weekend, mine became horrible "shoppers" as well! Now all Jack does is scream "go" while I'm stopped browsing. I've never tried any other carts. I'm just wondering how you were able to push a stroller and a cart!

One day I was desperate and needed to go grocery shopping so I pushed their stroller and pulled the cart. It was easier then I thought it would be and now it has become a routine thing for us to do. It was a little ridiculous though putting them both in separart shopping carts. That must have looked pretty funny!

DH and I went to Costco one day with J & E in the stroller. I was pushing the cart. E kept on asking to get in the cart. I knew I was starting trouble, but I put her in anyway. Of course J wanted out of the stroller as well. Then E wanted out of the cart. So here I am trying to push an empty stroller and corral two kids. DH swore we were never going back there again!
